Hi,
I am new to this site and I found it very informative. This would be my first post. I would just like to know if anybody on this board wrote the Kuwait MOH exam last March 18 in PICC? I believe there were 3 agencies who facilitated the exam and interview. In my case I passed the exam and was interviewed by the Kuwait MOH delegates last March 24 at Diamond Hotel- Manila. The agency called me up informing me that I passed the interview and wait for further instructions for the next step. I would just like to hear how many of us are awaiting for possible deployment to Kuwait and any update as to your case will be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks.
@stama: October 10 is just around the corner but you still have time. I believe MOH is doing their best to bring us to Kuwait. Try to keep in touch with your agency here in the Philippines from time to time. Anyway you're good to go, perhaps next week your plane ticket and flight confirmation will be available.
Keep the Faith in HIM...
@rochie rmb: I'm still under a subcon in Kuwait. As what I've said, Kuwait Government is in the process of accommodating foreign hired Nurses through the subcons for their locals to at least earn something. Whether you will be hired for either private or government hospitals, you will be under a subcon there in Kuwait as much as you will go through an agency here in the Philippines. In our case, Kuwait Ministry of Health (MOH) last March conducted an exam and interview for nurses who will work for government hospitals. The agencies here in the Philippines (ADM, Mother's Way and Best One) advertised the hiring and specified that it will be for government hospitals with a salary offer of 650KD-750KD. That is how I got the soon to be employment. I will be working for Kuwait Ministry of Health Hospitals which are obviously government hospitals and my employer would still be MOH but we will be managed by the subcon, but the salary and benefits comes from MOH directly.
Hope I've cleared some of you queries...
@stama: I think it's the MOH who will provide the ticket and for sure they are also the ones who will schedule for the flights. Maybe they got you and the other san celias next week's schedule. Just hold on, it's not over yet. Please update us from time to time.
I'm from Best One under Al Ruwad. Our visa will expire Nov 16 but we are still waiting to have our Medical referals since we still don't have our visas at hand though it was already released and we already have the scanned copy of it.
I'm pretty sure you already have signed the contract. Mother's Way by all means would also do their best because you already did the contract signing. They will also be liable if in case you will not be deployed.
hi guys. Processing takes quite a long time here. Regarding subcons, dont worry coz we will all be handld by moh once we are here. I heard some nurses are schedd 4 flight tom? Anyhow, for new nurses who are planning to apply for moh, apply in adm. When we arrved here last sept, the Filipina(over all in charge) is planning to cater all the applicants. She is the owner of adm.. moms way and best1 got applcants only bcoz she gave them. With regards to salary, most of d nurses got deducted from 10-60kd. Gudluck guys! See u here in kwt!
hi everyone! i arrived here in kuwait on sept 28 and until now my batchmates and i havent started processing our papers in MOH. we were advised to report there tomorrow. will try to update you whenever i can.
for those who are still waiting for their tickets, just pray. there is a reason for everything :)
Hi! this thread is really informative! I have a question for those who are in Kuwait, or who knows the IN and OUts in Kuwait.
My husband is currently working as an engr in Kuwait for almost 3yrs, and I'm still here in Manila with my son. I would like to join my husband there. Is is possible for me to go there and apply directly to MOH? I only have 2yrs dialysis center experience. I am a registered nurse and a pharmacist here. I'm also waiting for my EB3 PD May 2006. I want to work in Kuwait and be with my husband while still waiting for it. I hope you could enlighten me with this. Thanks!
hey guyz..finally god answered all our prayers..all remaining san celia nurses got their tickets 5 days before expiration of our visas.were leaving on october 9,.i thought were hopeless..but still GOD is good...its 11:00 pm and still busy packing all my things..im bound to manila tomorrow for final briefing ..to all nurses waiting for their visas dont lose hope..just pray and keep your faith on him...goodluck to all of us..
hi guys! finally i have already received the loan (100 KD) from the ministry. i already set aside some KD for the stamping and medical fee...processing of documents is taking a long time; there are so many indian nurses who are also processing their papers.
guys, please make sure that the photocopies of your passport and visa are clear. there is a photocopying machine inside the ministry and its for free but sometimes you have wait in line....during the assessment of salary, the one who is in charge asked for a photocopy of my birth certificate (which he attached to my folder. he also checked my coe (i showed him a photocopy and its ok with him). if im not mistaken, the next step is encoding of documents. ..we'll be going back to the ministry on sunday.
pls bring with you some money because the 100 KD is good for 3 months only. ladies, bring some white stockings.
by the way, many us have recieved less than the salary offer we signed in our contracts in the Philippines. Some are fortunate to have more. i tihink its based on the number of years of experience but those who have masteral degree or units are offered more.
this is all for now, guys. good luck!
