Kuwait MOH

Hi,

I am new to this site and I found it very informative. This would be my first post. I would just like to know if anybody on this board wrote the Kuwait MOH exam last March 18 in PICC? I believe there were 3 agencies who facilitated the exam and interview. In my case I passed the exam and was interviewed by the Kuwait MOH delegates last March 24 at Diamond Hotel- Manila. The agency called me up informing me that I passed the interview and wait for further instructions for the next step. I would just like to hear how many of us are awaiting for possible deployment to Kuwait and any update as to your case will be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks.

@sophieanne1213: I think both private and government hospital applications takes almost the same time frame. It is about 6 months to 9 months to 1 year. We MOH (Government hospitals) batch 2011 applicants had our exam last March 18 and it was just last August when deployment started and it is also by batch. Many had been deployed already while a few are still waiting for flight confirmation, final medical exam and final processing.

There is another forum at http://www.workabroad.ph (just click forum) and try to search for the thread "Nurses for Kuwait". There you can somehow find some answers to your question since there are also some discussions with private hospital applications.

@they.see: You're very welcome.

hi there!.. im just new in this, and this forum is very interesting and informative to me to other nurses who are planning to work in kuwait.. actually i already applied to an agency last sept 24.. we have a scheduled kuwait MOH exam but it was postponed.. am a bit confused now 'cause some of you are still waiting for visas and scheduled flight and some of you are waiting for almost 6months to 1 year.. are you guys still working as nurse here? i just want to ask also if are you being notified by your agency for a month before going to kuwait? which of the agencies who facilitate the kuwait MOH is best? thank you!

@rochie rmb:After we were hired (passed the exam and interview) we were informed that the processing of our visa will take about 4-6 months so most of us did not resigned from our hospital jobs. In my case, I resigned just last August 31 when I was informed that my visa was released and I should prepare for Final Medical Exam. Some of my co-applicants are still currently working specially those who are near Metro Manila.

Our agency and most agencies gives notices in advance wherein you can have time to make arrangements like resignation, travel to and from Manila..etc.

ADM is a very reliable agency. Of the 3 agencies (ADM, Mother's Way, Best One) who facilitated our application, it's ADM who already deployed almost 80% of their applicants todate if I'm not mistaken. I'm under Best One and they are very behind in terms of number of applicants deployed than ADM. I also heard applicants from Mother's Way that their application process is also slow.

Hope this helps. Good Luck Nurses !!!

@Dinx.. thanks for the info.. do u have already your flight schedule? do u also have an idea bout the al-wazzan united center company in kuwait? that's the new subcon of bestone.. i research that company in the net but they give very limited info.. im very interested to work in kuwait but i get anxious as i read some feeds here regarding the subcons in kuwait.. thanks!

@rochie rmb: Sad to say that we are still waiting for our Medical Exam referral. We cannot proceed since our visa is still there in Kuwait and in limbo. We are still patiently waiting for it, but MOH gave assurance that we will be deployed somehow.

I'm also almost zero with regards to knowledge anything about Kuwait companies. Just be sure that you are applying for government-bound hospitals in Kuwait because the salary is 3 times as to that of private hospitals. It's like 700KD for government hospitals while for private it's about 200-250KD.

Best of Luck to you.

About the subcons, I think we have to deal with it the way it is since Kuwait Government already implemented this program for their locals to earn. Anyway, what is stipulated in the contract does not change even with the entry of the subcons.

I am looking to work there in Kuwait just for my contract duration which is 2 years. I'm one way or another taking a detour while waiting for my Priority Date for my approved US employment-based petition. If this will push through it would be ok, but if not, it can't be helped.

@Dinx.. im also under the bestone.. the salary offer is 250-300KD and for sure is a private subcons.. the salary offer of goverment agency in kuwait is very interesting.. are you under a private subcon in kuwait?

Godspeed to us!

@rochie rmb: Subcons in Kuwait are all private but they are under the supervision of Kuwait Ministry of Health. I am however bound for government hospital. My salary offer is 715KD. If you have 3 years or more hospital experience better apply for government hospital deployment. I think they will be conducting exam and interview this coming December.

More power Filipino Nurses!!!

@dinx.. your salary offer is great.

my days are counted already...im really desperate now..my visa is about to expire this october 10 yet our ticket is not release...im wondering what will happen if my visa expires ! can i still go to kuwait? pleaseeee helppp..

@dinx.. WOW! u have a good salary offer.. You're under bestone and they find your employer in Kuwait right?.. How? so you are not under a subcon?

Im very thankful to you dinx for entertaining my questions!
