Ok, so I've kind of looked around the site, but I can't find what I'm looking for. I applied to the KSU accelerated nursing program for the Spring of 2012. Our applications, TEAS score, etc. already had to be turned in by May 31st. I was curious to know about how long they take to get back to you to let you know if you made it to the second round. I've got a 3.2 GPA right now, and I graduate from UGA in December with a BS in Psychology. I made a 91.3% overall score on the TEAS V. Does anyone have any idea about my chances of getting in? I took the TEAS without even taking A&P at all, but I'm taking it right now. Any advice if I do make it to the second round? I am CPR/First Aid certified and I have my CNA. Also, if anybody needs any advice about the TEAS, I'd be happy to answer some questions and tell you what I thought of it.

@starlite1980-absolutely! i'll be applying for fall so i got a little time to figure this out....best of luck with your application! btw, i still have to take the teas, how is it? pretty easy to study for say 2 weeks or so (that's all i studied for the gre and did fine). :)

I only studied for about 2 weeks. My main area of concern was the science portion, so that is what I focused on more. I was already strong in the other areas. I scored in the 90s in every subject except for science which I got a high 70. My overall was an 86.4% The information on the test was basic high school level material in my opinion. I would also recommend taking the practice test and getting the study guide that ATI offers. Also, I know of students that ran out of time during the math section. I would suggest that you learn to eliminate the wrong answers instead of figuring out the right answer.

I have already rec'd an interview letter, so I am just waiting to sign up for that. I think they are only doing fall and spring starts now....nothing in the summer, which is great because I heard that they are letting in more students per application period.

Hello, good news!

I got a call from Fran earlier today....

Interviews will be the week of September 19th and we should be receiving our letters regarding them in a few days (I think they may have just sent them out).

I'll be doing a interview with them via Skype (yay to saving money!) I'm assuming that same week. I'm so excited and nervous and very glad that we still have plenty of time to prepare! :o

this is exciting news! i had my mock interview a week ago and it went well! now that we have an idea of when the actual interview will take place, it will be easier to focus on practice answers! she also gave me the same advice as stated before, to write down my answers and practice them.

sounds like we will all do great!!

Hi All,

I got a follow-up letter in the mail saying we have until 9/11 to sign up, but I am still getting the stop sign. Is this happening to anyone else?

yes me too! I am going to try again later and if by tomorrow morning it is still showing stop sign I am going to give F a call! I just got anxious excited all over again like this letter was news!

OMG...u have no clue. I keep having thoughts that I am going to get an email or letter saying we made a mistake sending you an interview letter...LOL!!! I just want to get it scheduled already!

haha yea i told my mom i received another letter saying they made a mistake..! (don't worry she put her glasses on and read otherwise) :)

if any of you see that it opens up will you post it on here please, i get these notifications to my phone email way quicker than signing in to owl express every hour haha!

something i JUST noticed...before the interview sign up stop sign said "you have not been selected blah blah blah" now it says interview sign up is closed...i guess this is a good sign. maybe she still hasn't set up interview registration..i just want to make sure i get something according to my work schedule and so i can let work know ahead of time..

I tried again this morning, and it still won't let me in. I am working and going to school right now so I just want to know ahead of time so I can prepare. I'm really nervous and excited all at the same time.
