KSU accelerated RN program Spring 2012

Ok, so I've kind of looked around the site, but I can't find what I'm looking for. I applied to the KSU accelerated nursing program for the Spring of 2012. Our applications, TEAS score, etc. already had to be turned in by May 31st. I was curious to know about how long they take to get back to you to let you know if you made it to the second round. I've got a 3.2 GPA right now, and I graduate from UGA in December with a BS in Psychology. I made a 91.3% overall score on the TEAS V. Does anyone have any idea about my chances of getting in? I took the TEAS without even taking A&P at all, but I'm taking it right now. Any advice if I do make it to the second round? I am CPR/First Aid certified and I have my CNA. Also, if anybody needs any advice about the TEAS, I'd be happy to answer some questions and tell you what I thought of it.

Congrats to everyone that got in. I've been wait-listed for the accelerated program. Hopefully a spot opens up for me. If not, then I will just apply for the fall...I guess I need to find that thread too:D. Praying that I get in for spring:tinkbll:

I think we could start our own UNofficial facebook page. Then if they do one for us, we can just use that one. What do you guys think?

I would rather wait until they set up the FB page, especially with the new FB update (where everyone is all in your business...LOL). I think we should continue to post on here at least until orientation. However, if you do create a FB page, can you still post info on here?

Hi all. Just got my letter yesterday! Super excited because I was not sure if I would make it, GPC rejected me lol. Congratulations to everyone. What is the name of the face book group?

Starlite-- thanks for asking!! I am still waiting for my letter!!!! My mailman was late so I have been a wreck all day, and still, nothing. No news is just no news, though, so I'm still trying to stay optimistic. Congratulations, everyone!!! I hope to be joining you in celebration soon!!!!!

I believe one of us asked a question about mailing or dropping off the agreement form to Fran. So I got an answer, you can mail or drop off the form..it doesn't matter which way you get it to Fran, just make sure it gets in before the deadline. Fran also told me she wouldn't be in her office today (saturday), but I can just slip in the form through her door.

Hey I vote we stay on here until official FB group is made. Also just throwing it out there, if people would want to maybe meet up and start studying for the calcualte with confidence test, I would be up for it. I live in the Kennesaw area and was thinking of maybe once a month to practice.

Still no letter! Is anyone else out there still waiting? They won't check for me until late next week if I still don't have it. When is the deadline???? I am pretty sure it is being bounced around to an old address. I gave them the new address twice, but I guess it didn't get updated in all the right places. I think I am making the move from excited and anxious, to nervous, to just plain numb!!!!

I got my letter this past Friday....and yay, I got in! :D

Just wanted to say hey to my new fellow classmates (I'm in the Traditional program) and wondering if anyone will be looking for a roomie in an area closeby school??
