KPU Nursing Advanced Entry 2022

Just wondering if anyone has applied into the KPU advanced nursing program for Sept 2022 intake. Thought I would make this thread for all of us to communicate/ask questions in. 

@NelMwa  how long did it takes you to get the offer. I have also applied, and still waiting for a reply. Hope I can get in as well.

Hello Thank you for the reply @NelMwa I did get accepted. But it says with the condition. Is it just for me or for everyone else it's the same?

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone who's in the program can tell me how Semester 3 works (clinical-only). I am curious about what days they will book us for clinical. Is it only Monday-Friday? Is there lab session for the first 3 weeks in Semester 3? Do we go 5 days a week?

Hi

The clinicals in 3rd semester are 12 hours long, 3X a week, and some placements include weekends. You get a choice of top 3 but it isn't guaranteed you will get that choice.

Thank you so much for responding. Does the lab part happen in the first 3 weeks?

Also are you able to choose which days of the week you work? Like which 3 days of the week?
