Just wondering if anyone has applied into the KPU advanced nursing program for Sept 2022 intake. Thought I would make this thread for all of us to communicate/ask questions in.

For the third semester (med surg) you don't get to pick the exact days. They are pre-chosen and you can choose the priority according to what rotation days work best for you. Most people did get the choice they asked for. Lab is first week of medical clinical and then another week before surgical clinical starts.
All other courses have been online so far. I am not sure how the first two semesters clinicals were as I did not have to do them with my background.

Do you know if people were able to do clinicals in their own community? Or were they mainly around the Langley area?
They are all over the lower mainland. Some in Richmond, Richmond, VGH etc. I'm not too sure about preceptorship but maybe you will be able to do that in your own town.

For the final preceptorship, you can request to do it anywhere in BC. I heard one student did theirs in Haida Gwaii.
@Reese5 Feel free to ask me questions. I am just finishing up the 1st semester.
