  1. They are all over the lower mainland. Some in Richmond, Richmond, VGH etc. I'm not too sure about preceptorship but maybe you will be able to do that in your own town.
  2. @friendlynurse16 For the third semester (med surg) you don't get to pick the exact days. They are pre-chosen and you can choose the priority according to what rotation days work best for you. Most people did get the choice they asked for. Lab is first week of medical clinical and then another week before surgical clinical starts. All other courses have been online so far. I am not sure how the first two semesters clinicals were as I did not have to do them with my background.
  3. Hi The clinicals in 3rd semester are 12 hours long, 3X a week, and some placements include weekends. You get a choice of top 3 but it isn't guaranteed you will get that choice.
  4. I don’t think anyone has started a group! Let us know if you do make one
  5. Congrats! I’m so glad you got in. I think there is 40 spots.
  6. Yes! I had no idea until a coworker who teaches some nursing courses at kpu told me. It’s been open since end of March apparently. Go apply ? There is an article in a newspaper online saying a lot of nursing schools in BC are opening more intakes due to nurse shortages.
  7. Hey Amandam, I got accepted for the January 2023 intake. They had opened the applications for this intake due to nurses shortage maybe, I had no idea they were doing a January and April (I think) intake now too.
  8. Hey Amandam, I got the same email on Thursday. I was jumping up and down in joy LOL and then reread the email. I was put into some arts program.
  9. Congrats you guys!! Good to hear the list is moving up.
  10. I applied for the program at the end of February and got waitlisted then. I’m probably the last on the list! Yes, hope so too. @YvettexWang when did you get put on the waitlist? I did call kwantlen to find out where I stand in the waitlist out of curiosity but they couldn’t find any information regarding this!
  11. @Kkaur Congrats to you!! That is great news. Yes I hope I hear back soon, I’m not sure how far down the waitlist I am. Fingers crossed.
  12. Hey Kkaur and Yvettewang, Have you two heard anything regarding the program?
  13. Thanks! That is good to hear, hopefully it works out.
  14. I applied end of February and they just told me I am on the waitlist. Do you know how long the current waitlist is? I read from previous posts you are on it as well.
  15. Hi Everyone, I am also waitlisted for this program. Just wondering if anyone knows how the waitlist admission is offered. Is it based on the first to be put on the waitlist or the one with all the requirements already met/ highest GPA?
