Just wondering if anyone has applied into the KPU advanced nursing program for Sept 2022 intake. Thought I would make this thread for all of us to communicate/ask questions in.

Hey Amandam,
I got accepted for the January 2023 intake. They had opened the applications for this intake due to nurses shortage maybe, I had no idea they were doing a January and April (I think) intake now too.

Really? For advanced entry?? I thought it was only September
Yes! I had no idea until a coworker who teaches some nursing courses at kpu told me. It’s been open since end of March apparently. Go apply ?
There is an article in a newspaper online saying a lot of nursing schools in BC are opening more intakes due to nurse shortages.

?I got accepted for the January 2023 intake as well! But I’m also waiting for The September intake! Is there any chance of getting off the waitlist?
You’re kidding me! I am going to apply right now — I had no idea!! Thank you guys ?

Is the January 2023 intake for the advanced entry program as well?
Congrats! I’m so glad you got in. I think there is 40 spots.
Does anyone know the total cost of tuition roughly? From what I understand it’s around the $25,000 ball park from the tuition estimator but I was speaking to someone who was in the program in 2015 and she mentioned it was much higher than that. Any info anyone can provide would be wonderful!
thank you!
