KPU Nursing Advanced Entry 2022

Just wondering if anyone has applied into the KPU advanced nursing program for Sept 2022 intake. Thought I would make this thread for all of us to communicate/ask questions in.

Congrats to you!! That is great news. Yes I hope I hear back soon, I’m not sure how far down the waitlist I am. Fingers crossed.

Hi guys! 
I am also waitlisted for the 2022 program ? 

I had to retake an A&P course which screwed me over because then all my requirements weren’t met until Feb. 17.  When did everyone else meet the requirements that were waitlisted?   I’m hoping some people will be accepted into UBC and free up some spots for us???? I know that they haven’t given out off of their offers yet for UBC.  Fingers crossed!

I applied for the program at the end of February and got waitlisted then. I’m probably the last on the list! Yes, hope so too. @YvettexWang when did you get put on the waitlist? I did call kwantlen to find out where I stand in the waitlist out of curiosity but they couldn’t find any information regarding this!

It kind of doesn’t make sense why they can’t tell us where we are at on the waitlist.

the email response I got when I inquired about this was “Thank you for your email. I’m afraid we do not have that information. It is quite difficult to comment on space availability as the number of applications that we receive tends to vary for each intake. Should something change and space become available for the BSNAE Fall 2022, please be assured we would notify you by email as soon as possible at that point. However, if you are interested in being considered for a future intake such as BSNAE Fall 2023, please do note that you would have to apply again to the program with no guarantee of an offer.”

 

I’m not sure why they cant see the numbers based on this terms intake? Anyways I digress.  I guess there’s nothing we can do about it anyways!

I just got an email from the admissions officer letting me know that I have been admitted! I was on the waitlist!

They just sent all the acceptance letters to UBC nursing students last week so I think maybe some jumped from Kwantlen to UBC.

Great news to us! Looking forward to meeting everyone!!

Oh wow haha wait this is sad — apparently they just put me into a different program without my knowledge and said I was accepted into that.  After paying my $250 deposit I see that I was just moved into a “science and horticulture undeclared” program starting September 2022.  Was just informed.  They said I had selected that as my second choice but if I did it was definitely an error on my part.  

so scratch that, I am still on the waitlist.  That’s depressing  ?

Hey Amandam,

I got the same email on Thursday. I was jumping up and down in joy LOL and then reread the email. I was put into some arts program.
