Mnot is 100% right .. Know the med what is/used for and the nursing considerations and if the med has any parameters .. That's what's really important. Know how to pour PO meds and give PO meds, injections (know needle sizes and sites for injection for subcu, IM, intradermal), and how to administer ear/eye meds. All this info is in your power points and books, try to pick out the important info!

Jess, you have no idea how helpful you have been, I really appreciate what you sent me, very big help. :)

Test on monday, good luck everyone.

Am I missing out on something? ;) can you share it with me as well?

@ironbound .. Your welcome! Good luck on the test go with your gut, don't change answers unless you feel 100% the answer you that you put is wrong!

@mnot88 .. I sent you a message, just some tips off the top of my head for the topics on your test. Hope you find it helpful!

Thanks @nursingstudentjess.

Is it really mostly meds? A nur18 repeat student told me that they were hyped about the meds and there were only like 3 questions etc.

There's a couple of med Ques, but know how to administer the different routes. The tests change every semester so it can be completely different just try to haves good understanding of all the topics!

Yup yup! I'm not banking on anything

How was test 2?

Did better this time around :) but man oh man was that test tricky! They literally open the textbook, throw a dart in it, and test you based on that! Its crazy!

It was definitely challenging! But I did ok. Some questions were way ahead of us..

Glad you both did well again, just think 1 more test and a final and your on to medsurg!! ?

Yup! Thanks for your tips and advice so far. We're hanging in there=)
