I just wanted to start a thread for anyone who is in the Kentucky Board of Nursing's KARE program. I thought this would be a good place to share/exchange info and lend some support to one another! :angrybird12:

I am coming up on the end of my 1 year in 34 days (!). I am not technically in KARE, just ordered monitoring. I emailed my case manager and asked her now what. She explained that once I come to that 1 year, my file will be reviewed by her and then by the compliance manager. She was unable to give me a timeline for this to happen. My question is, how long after your designated date did it take before you couldn't log into Affinity anymore? I am so excited I can barely stand it so I don't want to get my hopes too high if its going to take another month or so after my date.

I was I the same boat. My one year was Feb 6 2023 I couldn't log in anymore after the 10th or so and then was officially done on Valentine's Day. Good job for making through! Good luck!

I have a quick question. My anxiety is extremely bad while I'm the program. I am on a prescribed medication that I test positive for. Every single time it pops a positive notification on my app I freak out. My question is if the results come back in over the weekend when my case manager isn't in office— would they call me immediately if there was an issue? I'm just tired of living like this and I feel like this would keep my anxiety down knowing that they would contact me the same day no matter what day if there was an issue with my drug screen.

I was in a different program and used affinity to test, if results came in over a weekend/holiday, it would show as positive and then change to prescription positive whenever my case manager reviewed it.

I've never been selected for panel 0-769275 before. Does anyone know what this is? 

Right and he isn't in the office this week. I know I have done absolutely nothing wrong so I don't understand why I have this overwhelming anxiety all the time. I'm sure if it was positive for anything other than what I'm prescribed they would have to call me immediately regardless if they were out of office but I could be wrong.

Anyone been randomly picked for a blood test? Like with no abnormal urine results, complaints, work issues, etc that triggered it?

Did you ever find out what that panel was? I got selected for it too.
