Keiser (Wolford) CRNA 2019 Applicants

Published

I have applied to Keiser University CRNA program in Naples, FL for 2019.. anyone else planning to or already applied there for 2019? Anyone starting in January 2019? Please do not comment about the school being a "last resort" school as seen in past threads and posts. This thread is intended solely for current and future applicants applying in 2019. If you had interviewed at Keiser before, please provide some insights.

What I understand is that from the recent COA report the school is now accredited till 2023. So the whole accreditation debate is now pointless

Correct, as well as by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. While I believe some of the previous issues (which were few, in fact) were more student-driven and based on the number of people accepted, I do think the change to Keiser is going to be very beneficial to this program.

First semester schedule for me was only 3 days a week so plenty of time to study, but you will be putting in about 60 hours a week if you want to do well. Second semester is four days a week, with observation days and longer time in sim lab so I’ve had to change study habits a little. Chose Keiser bc I have a BS in Biology and they accepted that, front loaded didactic portion, family on east coast, and small class size.

i said it wrong.. should have done better on proof reading. yes they r accrediated...what i meant

sorry, created all kinds of problems . my bad

How was ur interview?? Did you get an acceptance yet? I’m sure you did great!

I interviewed June 10th. Has anyone heard back about acceptance? I read earlier that people usually find out that Friday??? If you don’t get accepted, do you also find out that Friday??

all i can offer you is my experience. I interviewed on a monday was accepted that friday through email

How do you feel about interview?? Do you think it went well? Just curious over here. I’m interviewing in 3 weeks.

I interviewed on Friday... It was ok... I was soooo nervous but they were so nice and accommodating. They actually made me feel comfortable and the whole process was very easy. I honestly don't know if I got in or not, still waiting for a yay or nay email. Fingers are crossed.

I interviewed on Friday as well! They were very nice and I personally did not get any clinical questions during my interview. I also have yet to hear a yes or no whether or not if I got in but I’ll let you know when I do. Best of luck!!

gl to everyone that has interviewd. I hope to meet you in sept

Yes good luck to everyone. Keep us posted! Anyone know if during the first year you get breaks in between semesters (ie Xmas break) since first year is didactic?? Just curious

thanks
