I have applied to Keiser University CRNA program in Naples, FL for 2019.. anyone else planning to or already applied there for 2019? Anyone starting in January 2019? Please do not comment about the school being a "last resort" school as seen in past threads and posts. This thread is intended solely for current and future applicants applying in 2019. If you had interviewed at Keiser before, please provide some insights.
just finished my interview at keiser. Boy was I nervous. They did ask clinical questions as it relates to anesthesia. The interview was roughly 45 min with a panel consisting of 2 CRNAs and lori ellison. Lori told me it could take 6 to 8 weeks to hear a yea or nay but typically it does'nt take that long.
i dont think it was a difficult interview but i was asked 2 clinical questions. One was about pituitary gland and its clinical manifestations. I told them Im sorry I do not know the answer and im not going to try and lie my way through it. Then they asked me a second question about preload and how anesthesia affects preload. I did well on that. Now I just have to wait and see if they feel I am a good fit. Even though they told me 6 8 weeks to find out, I know people on this very site who knew by the end of the week. They said acceptance or rejection letter would come either way
