Keiser (Wolford) CRNA 2019 Applicants

Published

I have applied to Keiser University CRNA program in Naples, FL for 2019.. anyone else planning to or already applied there for 2019? Anyone starting in January 2019? Please do not comment about the school being a "last resort" school as seen in past threads and posts. This thread is intended solely for current and future applicants applying in 2019. If you had interviewed at Keiser before, please provide some insights.

I am going to have my interview march 18th at nine am. I am so nervous, this is the last school I apply to for my 2018 applications. If I don't get in I'll plan on retaking my gre. I got a 297 and seemed to be frowned upon from my other schools. I have three years in cvicu, acls, bls, pals, and ccrn. GPA 3.4 I hope this really works out. Anyone have housing opinions or any insight.

You will be fine .. don’t stress out .. it’s a very friendly interview

Hey everyone! What a great resource this has been for me to read. First wanted to say congrats to everyone that has gotten accepted and/or started. I aspire to be in a similar place in the near future. I have been preparing to begin applications for CRNA school and honestly Keiser has been the top of my list. I won't be able to start until the January 2020 cohort but plan to apply in June/July. I am taking my CCRN exam next month, followed by the the GRE in May. I will be applying with a 3.3 GPA in my BSN though I won't officially finish until October (they said I could still apply though). Is there anything else I could do at this point to make my application stronger? I have around 36 shadowing hours as well. Look forward to hearing from you! -R

How did it go today fisdrunner1?

Any details you'd care to share regarding format? What to be ready for?

Thanks!

hosing in naples is not cheap. i have live in the area since june and from whst ive heard from co-workers; the typical rent is right around 1300. Now if you plan to live further north that might be cheaper

please share your interview experience! we would all love 2 hear.

The interview was very personal compared to my Texas interviews. More of why you want to be crna, how did you get here etc. I like how the interview went, but don't know what to expect or think? Hopefully I get in.

Anyone mind sharing their stats for the ones who got in and have a interview?

my stats.. 3.8 gpa, 12 years cvicu, ccrn

interview scheduled april 1st 1030

Thanks for sharing! Gre score?

sorry forgot that...gre. 299 with 4.0 on essay part
