Hi! Only hopping on now but here are my stats!

PreReq: 1B rest As

coreq: 1B 1A

TEAS: originally got a 87.3% but tested again and got a 90%

Experience: CNA with couple months of full time experience in a care home, had a year of intern experience working with Hawai’i Pacific Health in education

Got my acceptance letter today!

some background too I originally applied for UHM last year and got waitlisted, decided to go to KCC, got off waitlist right before summer but decided to stick with KCC due to money, I think retaking my teas score really helped!

Congrats on getting in! I had a question. So you applied to UHM with those stats and got waitlisted? Which teas score did you have when you applied with them?

When I applied to UHM I had the same stats but a 87.3 teas, I retook my teas over the summer before applying to KCC

I’m looking into applying at KCC next year. What did you use to study for the TEAS?

also, I heard KCC only took 12 people last semester. ?

The yellow book and whatever public libraries had. I studied TEAS 5 as well because that’s what public libraries have. It helped ?

Hey guys what should I do if I don’t have personal insurance? It’s one of the health requirements and I heard I could get one from NSO from my friend in LA. Still waiting a call back from nursing department.

You can purchase insurance through companies such as HMSA/Kaiser, etc when it is open enrollment (10/15) but the plan would not be effective until 1/1. Also you could purchase the UH student plan for spring 2020. Enrollment begins 12/2.
