  1. I'll be graduating next week with my RN! I should be taking my NCLEX in a few months then I wanted to do the online RN-BSN personalized learning at NAU. I'm not located in Arizona or go to NAU so I havent taken any of their university requirements yet. I'd like to build up my resume and work full time once I am licensed, which is why I wanted to do the personalized learning program so I can work and still take BSN courses at the same time.
  2. Sorry I had another question! I was wondering how difficult/time consuming it was to complete all of the university's requirements to obtain a bachelors, such as the liberal studies, junior writing, senior capstone, and diversity credits??? It seems like a lot more courses, are these classes also included in the $3700 subscription? Thanks in advance :)
  3. Thank you for all of your help!! I really appreciate it!
  4. Thank you so much for all of your help! I was hoping to complete the program within 2 subscriptions as well! Was it difficult/time consuming? Or was it comparable with going to school "full-time" or "part-time"? Also, are these powerpoint presentations that difficult that it'll really make the difference between a B and an A? Again, thanks so much for your insight ?
  5. Thank you! :) If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take you to complete the RN to BSN program at NAU? I read on their website that, because it is self-paced, one person completed all 33 credits in only 6 months! Was wondering if the price ($3700 every 6 mo.) is worth it?
  6. Thank you so much for your response! How were the exams taken? Did you have to use a proctoring website?? I have not heard good things about proctoring sites as they typically require you to download a bunch of software that gives them access to your computer system... Or were these exams simply taken using the honor code??
  7. Hi! did anyone complete this program yet?? was curious on if there were any exams? I'm located in a part of Colorado that doesn't have any testing centers within a couple hours from me so I was looking for a program that required little to no proctored exams! I have heard NAU's online RN-BSN doesn't require many (if any) as it is mostly papers! is this true?? please let me know :)
  8. well Crystallyn told me it was only 12 this sem. so since there's only 12 that means majority of the alternates will be accepted since they sent out 8 letters! so unless the 4 people who responded on this forum that haven't received a letter are actually the bottom 4 people on the alternate list, it must just be a mail delay or something?? at least that's what i'm hoping??
  9. there were 12 alternates!
  10. okay well 4 people responded on this forum that they haven't received letters yet... so we are either the only 4/12 alternates who did not receive letters & did not get accepted, or the letters just haven't arrived yet! if anyone else has any info please post!!! i'm extra stressed out now lol. if you call them, can they tell you if you are one of the students accepted??
  11. when I spoke to Crystallyn she said the cohorts are 6 students each & they were planning on accepting 18 total. this was way back when we first received the initial alternate letter. so at orientation when they said they didn't know how many more students they could take off the alternate list i was worried they would maybe just be taking 12 instead of 18, but if they're actually sending out 8 letters like the other user on here said then that would mean they were able to take 18 like Crystallyn said! hope this info is true then most of the alternates should be accepted because they only took 12 total! please post if any of you get any news! ?
  12. aw! i tried calling today & the lady who answered the phone wasn't very helpful... please let us know if you get any news!! ?
  13. my mail came for the day & I didn't receive anything :( if the letters were actually sent out on Friday like person said, they would be arriving today! has anyone received a letter?
  14. did they actually send out the letters already?? or are they just planning on sending out 8? has anyone received a phone call/email or the actual letter? ugh waiting is making me sooo anxious! ?
