I am a KBCC student as well that will be taking the TEAS test after the Spring semester in hopes of getting into the nursing program in fall 2021. I will be taking sci25 in the Spring as well. How did you like your Professor for sci 2500?

Oh okay. You definitely have time to prepare. I took professor --------------------------. He is amazing. Please try to take him because the subjects can be challenging. He made learning fun and much easier.

Hey. I just finished Micro and Sci2500. Now I'm going hard on preparing for the TEAS. I take it in the first week of January. What date are you scheduled for?

It will be given remotely with ATI. I’m planning on taking in December I’ve been studying since July , I want to get it over with.

Have you taken the exam as yet? Im scheduled for the first week in January. Just finished taking Sci25 and Micro.

Hi @Nawkole , I’m taking it on Monday . I feel ready and anxious at the same time. Thats great that you got Sci25 and Micro out the way. January is right around the corner.

Hi @Nawkole who did you take for micro? I’ll be taking that in the Summer session. I’m currently waiting on approval to take the sci25. I will trying my best to take jay but so far no names are added to the classes.

@Starsha please let me know how the TEAS exam was. I take it after the Spring semester.

Hey @Keisha Parris I had ---------------------- for Micro. She's absolutely the best. Let me know if whether you get her because I can share notes from the class. In regards to Sci25..try looking for the time slot that --------------------------- teaches in and add it to your cart. That's what I did because the same thing happened when I was registering for the class. It took forever for them to update the professors. You can also email him directly.

@Starsha Yes, Lady. Please share with us about the TEAS after you take it. I'm using the ATI program to prepare which is supposed to be very similar to the actual exam but I'm still curious.

Hi @Nawkole and @Keisha Parris . I took the TEAS I was very nervous when I was taking it but I made the proficient score. I found the science to a bit challenging it wasn’t hard or easy it just got you thinking for a bit before you select the answer you think it’s right. @Nawkole yes the ATI program is similar to the TEAS. You will do well next week on the TEAS . Let me know how you do next week.

Hey everyone!! I just took the TEAS today. I've been at KBCC since 2018 taking pre/ co -requisites. I didn't make the cut for last semester as it was GPA based only--No TEAS. Im really hoping I get into the program this semester. My GPA is 3.6. I scored proficient. I wish I knew what the lowest GPA/TEAS score were accepted for last Spring 2020. I have no idea where I stand in the application pool. My anxiety is high! Wishing you all the best of luck.

Hello, @BordeauxMama the guy that was tutoring for the TEAS for the fall semester said that the nursing department has been taking scores as low as 60. There no pre determine score he said you don't have to get an 80 just make sure you score at least a 60 in each section and it says proficient or because that's where they focus on. I'm anxious also because the waiting game begins. I hope I make this cohort.
