I recently transferred to KBCC and will be taking the TEAS exam in December. I'm registered to take Microbiology and Applied Physical Sciences for Allied Health Careers this fall. I'd like to connect with others who are on the same path this semester with the intention to form a support/study group. Present students are welcome also.

Hello, @Nawkole . I’m also taking the TEAS for the Spring 2021 . I didn’t know they were giving the TEAS in December. I already took Sci 25 and Microbiology in the Spring and Summer.

Hi @Starsha. Yes. That's what I was told by one of the advisors. I'm not sure if whether she was referring to the Spring2021 semester. Please share your experience with SCI 25 and Microbiology. I'm taking --------------------- for Sci25 and ---------------------- for Micro. I hear that they are the best! I am curious to find out about the online experience. Did you find it more challenging? What tools are you using to prepare for the TEAS? I purchased a subscription to Nursing.com and will be using to textbooks that I have.
Hello, @Nawkole . I took the Sci 25 with -------------- last semester and I took Microbiology with a different Prof. I got an A in ----------------------- class. He gives Hw online make sure do all of them. I didn’t make the fall cohort because the nursing dept decided not to gives the TEAS which made it more competitive they went by GPA because of the pandemic. So for the Spring semester I was told the TEAS was go that’s why I’m trying again.

Great job! I'm hoping that I will be able to do as well! He posted his Youtube's today so I will look at them tomorrow to get a head start. I am sure that you will do well on your exam and get into the program. I heard that Micro in the Summer was a doozy!

@Nawkole . Micro can be intense especially if you are taking in the Summer or Winter. I just wanted to get micro over with because I'm not trying to take micro with nursing classes. I'm done with all the prerequisite. I'm just waiting to take the TEAS so I can readmit myself for the Spring. Who is your advisor? Someone from the health stem department told me in December also but I thought it was in January because of the holidays. I'm gonna call and ask them what are the dates.
I appreciate you sharing your experience. It's good that you have a good amount of time to review for your TEAS. I get what you are saying about taking any of the prerequisites with Nursing courses...I feel the very same. These are my last two also. I spoke to something by the name of -----------------------. I am not sure of her last name. I hope to meet you in the Spring when we get accepted to the program!
@Nawkole hi . I found out the dates that the TEAS are being given. The TEAS are given on Dec 22 through January 8 . You can pick any of these days as long as it doesn’t pass January 8. It will be given remotely with ATI. I’m planning on taking in December I’ve been studying since July , I want to get it over with.
@starsha Thanks for the update! Yes. I've been checking the ATI site every day for new dates to be added. I can understand your desire to get it out of the way asap. All the best to you on the exam. I'm sure that you will do well.

@Nawkole . You see where it says TEAS @ ATI that’s where the nursing want us to click but you wouldn’t see any new dates as of yet because it start on December 22 through January 8. Also you have to put in your clinical application for the Spring with ---------------------------. It starts from today through December 11. I just email him my application.

Hi! If you still need info for Sci2500 please let me know. I will also be taking the TEAS in Dec or Jan. I am extremely nervous as I'm terrible in both Math and Science.
I’m actually taking Sci2500 now. Just study. You’ll be just fine! Let me know if you can use a study guide or TEAS book.
