Just finished Kaplan Question Trainer 6. Whew! 200 questions at a time is rough, although I took at 5 minute stretch/water break at 100 questions since I'm planning on doing that if (*knock on wood*) I get over 100 questions. I'm taking the exam June 26th at 2 pm.
My scores are definitely all over the place with the Qbank vs. the QTs, but now I think I'm pretty sure where I need to focus on for studying - Physiological Adaptation and Pharm. Ugh!
Question Trainer 1: 81%
Question Trainer 2: 72%
Question Trainer 3: 59% (No idea what happened there!) Retook it a week later with a 72%
Question Trainer 4: 70%
Question Trainer 5: 66%
Question Trainer 6: 64%
I feel more comfortable with the questions even though my scores are going down quite a bit as the difficulty increases.
For content I'm using Kaplan's videos (I'm a visual learner) and Saunders. Only Kaplan for questions, although I think I'm going to look at the Saunders CD for more SATA, since I'm definitely not doing as well on those as I want to be.
Hello to all
I take my NCLEX in two weeks. I was happy to find this thread that was aimed at Kaplan users like myself! I have completed qbank and qt 1-5 and all the nclex sample tests. I always always review my questions! I'm very anxious on if I'm ready for the nclex with the recent April change. I would appreciate any input. :) thanks for your truthfulness and help in advance!
Just an FYI my school did Kaplan integrated testing and I am posting these in order of taking them.
Nursing assessment test: 71.7 january
Diagnostic: 66.7 may
Readiness:67.2 may
School ends and I do the rest i June. Again in order:
QT 1: 62.7
QT 2:61.3
QT 3: 65
QT 4: 72.7
QT 5: 67.7
Sample test 1: 56
Sample test 2:70
Sample test 3, priorities:86.7
Sample test 4,alternate format: 38 (very hard! I think I'm weakest here. Althoughi have heard all my classmates doing in the same range. Unfortunately Kaplan doesn't give a good range for this??)
100% qbank:69%
I am saving 6 and 7 for one week out and three days out
The all overness of my scores is really what led me to posting here and I am never a super confident person!
Thanks for any help.:)
So for the q trainers I've been googling "nclex q trainer" and it's giving me loads of documents with q&a. I'm finding them very helpful, but I'm not sure that these are the ones that everyone is talking about in this thread? If they're are-- how helpful are these questions? I've also bought the saunders 6th edition book but I don't know I I should continue reading these trainers? Can someone enlighten me please!

How do I get the Qtrainer please?

I scored a 59.6% on qt 7 but didn't have time to review it all. I did, however, review all the others. Your doing great!
