Kaplan Question Trainers!

Just finished Kaplan Question Trainer 6. Whew! 200 questions at a time is rough, although I took at 5 minute stretch/water break at 100 questions since I'm planning on doing that if (*knock on wood*) I get over 100 questions. I'm taking the exam June 26th at 2 pm.

My scores are definitely all over the place with the Qbank vs. the QTs, but now I think I'm pretty sure where I need to focus on for studying - Physiological Adaptation and Pharm. Ugh! ;)

Question Trainer 1: 81%

Question Trainer 2: 72%

Question Trainer 3: 59% (No idea what happened there!) Retook it a week later with a 72%

Question Trainer 4: 70%

Question Trainer 5: 66%

Question Trainer 6: 64%

I feel more comfortable with the questions even though my scores are going down quite a bit as the difficulty increases.

For content I'm using Kaplan's videos (I'm a visual learner) and Saunders. Only Kaplan for questions, although I think I'm going to look at the Saunders CD for more SATA, since I'm definitely not doing as well on those as I want to be.

The nclex 3500 SATAs are harder and customizable. Google it online and its free.

I agree. Your scores look good. I strictly used Kaplan for NCLEX b/c I didn't want to get confused using too many different resources.

Our scores were very similar & I passed 1st time! You will too! Try and do 7 straight through Just to gage how long it would take you just in case you get all 265 on NCLEX. Took me 3 hours straight for trainer 7. And did you do the readiness one yet?

I dont have readiness one. Is it important. Actually one of my friend gave me q trainers?

It's just another predictor. Just keep doing questions...questions...& more questions!!
