Hello nursing friends...need your help. I am scheduled to take the NCLEX pn next week...problem is I have only been scoring an average of 62% from the Kaplan (1000 questions) and have only done maybe another 300 questions from NCLEX boook (Saunders)..so about 1300 questions so far with rationales. I've done some readings, of course...my biggest fear come next week is FAILING. Do you think I ought to reschedule the test and study some more with doing more questions or would you say go for it? I'm very scared and apprehensive. Your opinions do matter. Please help me! Thank you.

I would say, keep doing questions at least 150 to 200 questions every
day/night until a couple of day(s) before your test and take a break and do something nice for yourself (RELAX). No one can really tell you to either take the test at your scheduled date or reschedule it (Only you feel this). No one is really ready to take the test, they just take it and hope for the best and do a lot of praying! But in my opinion everytime I rescheduled the test, it only set me further and further back (). Good Luck Zadia, you can do it!:)
thanks nurseLil-lea. Im thinking no one is probably ever truely ready for the test. so I'm gonna take it on monday and give it a shot and hope for the best :S

It sounds like you are doing great with the qbanks. I would say keep at it. Also, go in expecting a longer test but hoping for a short one. Once the test keeps going past 75q, DO NOT PANIC, keep your focus coz that means you are still in the game. In addition, take those breaks that you get and if at any point you are reading the question and feel like you have lost your concentration, by all means take a break.
Best of luck over the weekend as you prepare. If you decided to take it on Monday, then take Sunday off your study coz at that point, there is nothing you can add or subtract from what you know. I did my exam and ran out of time but passed exam.
You are welcome Zadia, you can do it! Simama is correct, take your breaks whenever the computer tells you to. Go outside and get some fresh air. For the LPN test, if it goes pass 85Q, don't panic, you are still in the game like Simam said :)! My test stopped at 92 questions and I passed! Take Sunday off, get a good nights rest, eat a nice healthy breakfast, and go get'em :) Make the NCLEX Lady HAPPY! I will be praying for you.
Thanks for the encouragement and prayers yall.
best of luck

All of the best to you, I'm praying for you. :)
Thank you to everyone for the good luck wishes...I took the NCLEX PN at noon today and just did the Pearson view trick that said " the candidate has previously passed this exam, a new appointment cannot be scheduled" hoping that the trick did work! Thx for your supports! :) I'm a bit excited
