  1. haha! so true, I'm working here and it is still true.
  2. hi Rita, I just want to encourage you and tell you that I sent up a prayer for you. I have passed my exam already and it was tough, you have a lot of courage to try it over and over. I don't know if I would have been strong enough to do it again. I don't think anybody ever feel completely ready for the exam, I think you have done your preparation very well. I wish you all of the best and hope that your Thanksgiving will be more blessed than ever with VERY good news!
  3. All of the best to you, I'm praying for you. :)
  4. *wine:anpom::rckn::hpygrp::dncgbby::dancgrp:: :ancong!:
  5. Thanks! All of the best with waiting on the official results, hopefully you'll get it soon!
  6. Exam Master is good with very high end questions, the site says that you need to pay, but you don't. Just register and then you can choose the content and amount of questions that you want. You can create as many exams as you want to... http://www.exammaster.com/other-health-fields/nclex-rn All of the best to you!
  7. hi daginc911 You can buy the lacharity book at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Prioritization-Delegation-Assignment-Exercises-Examination/dp/0323065708/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1320495320&sr=1-2 It is excellent and I think a MUST for studying for the exam. I don't think you can get that through emails, it is a whole book. Kaplan books here: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_2_6?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=kaplan+nclex&sprefix=kaplan The strategies book is very good. It teaches you how to answer questions even when you don't know the answer. For content I would use Saunders: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_2_6?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=kaplan+nclex&sprefix=kaplan#/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_2_8?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=saunders+nclex+review+2012&sprefix=saunders&rh=n%3A283155%2Ck%3Asaunders+nclex+review+2012 There is a good book with content from Kaplan, but it is not for sale, you only get it when you take a course through Kaplan, maybe someone has it and could give it to you... Otherwise, here is a link to the NCLEX 3500: http://nursing.slcc.edu/nclexrn3500/mainMenu.do;jsessionid=9DED8260177991F775101A52E28CDBBA You can look through the threads here for the person who emails out links to NCLEX 4000, I don't think it is online yet... (maybe this thread will help: https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/anyone-has-free-630937.html ) Here is a link to the Random facts pdf that I found here on allnurses: http://www.mediafire.com/?8joeselpf487p6k This link: https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/how-i-passed-588963.html takes you to an excellent thread, click on the link for the Nclex study guide that 'senseiRN' posted. and here: http://www.learningshark.com/Nursing/Nursing%20Homepage/NCLEX-RN_Cramsheet.pdf is the EXAMCRAM NclexRN cram sheet. Another link this time for infection control: https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/infection-control-406535.html Exam Master is also excellent. You just register and then you can choose what content you want to be tested on and how many questions you want etc. The questions are very high end, so it really prepares you well. They say that you have to pay, but you don't, just register and it lets you choose what you want. It helped me a lot. http://www.exammaster.com/ I hope all of this helps... I needed all the help that I could get and I found it all on here at allnurses.com I don't think that I could have passed the exam without some help from this site. All of the best to you for your exam and enjoy your weekend!
  8. I took the Nclex this last Tuesday and there were DEFINITELY some highlighted words, I was surprised about that, but did not take enough notice to know when it happened and how often. I passed with 75 questions by the way, so I don't think the highlighted words mean that you are not doing well. All of the best to you!
  9. :dancgrp::dancgrp::dancgrp::dancgrp::dancgrp::dancgrp::dancgrp::dancgrp::dancgrp: My name is on the Cali BON site this morning with RN behind it...
  10. hi trachkids! I've been checking the Cali BON site for the past three days for my name, nothing until this morning. I suddenly remembered though that they are a few hours behind us in time, so I just checked AGAIN and my name is THERE!!!!!!! whoopwhoop! It is truly a miracle, I was totally convinced that I failed when I walked out of that room after only 75 questions. I cried and kept on saying sorry to my husband for all the wasted money! And then I passed after all?! I am so thrilled, but I will only REALLY believe it once I hold that card in my hands! I know my husband will be wanting to PARTY tonight! haha I'm going to put my books away RIGHT now! Have a good weekend! and congratulations to you again! :dancgrp:
  11. :hpygrp:::dncgbby: to you Trachkids!! happy for you! hopefully I'll know for real soon...
  12. hi Trachkids, have you heard officially whether you passed? I guess DreamnurseRN must have heard by now... I am still waiting and waiting and waiting. I have now done the PVT about 20 times and got the 'good' pop-pup every time. I even pretended that I wanted to register for the PN exam and it took me past the area where I always get the good pop-up for the RN exam, sooo, I have high hopes...
  13. hi everyone. I took the PVT this evening after our flight home on the seaplane from the island where I took the exam and I got the 'good' pop-up. I cried almost all day! I was so sure that I failed when the computer shut down after 75 questions, 2 hours! I really thought it meant that I failed, it felt like I knew NOTHING. I did not have that many SATA questions and the ones that I got seemed a bit easier than the ones that I practiced, NO math and one ECG strip to interpret. I so hope that this PVT is true. I took my exam through California, so I have to wait 2 to 4 weeks for the results, because Cali does not have quick results. I prayed all week that I wouldn't have a headache before my exam and God answered my prayer, but I have one now, think I'll go to bed with a hot milky drink! By the way, if the PVT is true and I passed this exam, then it is only by God's grace!
  14. hi! I am from the Halloween thread. I also took the PVT this evening after our flight home on the seaplane from the island where I took the exam and I also got the 'good' pop-up. I also cried all day! I was so sure that I failed when the computer shut down after 75 questions, 2 hours! I really thought it meant that I failed, it felt like I knew NOTHING. I actually did not have that many SATA questions, NO math and one ECG strip to interpret. I so hope that this PVT is true. Wishing you the best!
  15. @waterlilli- Thanks for the encouragement. I went for a refreshing swim in the ocean this afternoon and am now studying a little bit more on the pharmocology, not my best subject... I will call on all the Saints at my church to pray to Jesus that he will help me with this on Tuesday! All of the best with your studies as well! @odoumo. Thank you and yes, we pray all will go well!
