Kaplan college in San Diego RN program

Hi, I will be starting the RN program with Kaplan as soon as we relocate. My husband's in the Military so the wait lists at other colleges turned me away from them.

Do any of you go to Kaplan? If so, how did it work out for the student loans and stuff , I am confused. It seems as if tuition is around 45000 for the couple years of the program. I am eligible for the pell grant and the military grant of 3000 per year. But would the loans be able to cover everything else since it's a vocational school more than a traditional college? Thanks!

Haha..I am with you Quicksilver. I really want to quit my job and start this program. And yes it will be a vacation (no an easy one) but way better than working and not getting very far in our current jobs..Are you saying you havnt met anyone with an 80%, how do u know what others got? have u asked all the applicants? lol . Ok guys 5 more days hang in there :)

just got a phone from my admissions rep but i was unable to answer it. she left me an voicemail saying to call her back she has some questions to ask me? UGH im scared

just had a conversation with my rep she said that i made the alternative slot and if someone drops out then im in for September then if im not then i have a guaranteed spot in January :confused:

She said not to worry everyone who has been in the alternative spots has made it which is good news:yeah:but i dont really know if i should be celebrating at this point. I mean i made it kinda but there is always that factor that I wont get chosen for September which I i was hoping to get into the school for. I mean January is cool and all but that is 4 months away I wanted to start ASAP

Fingers crossed i guess i hope i see you some of you guys in September:):D:lol2:;):eek::sniff::hpygrp:
