Hello everyone! I didn't see this topic on the forum, so I'll create this for anyone else who is planning to apply to Kaiser's New Residency Program. Good luck!!

Ugh! I'm anxious, I am just wanting to know what type of schedule training is so I can plan! All they told me was that someone would contact me this week, and the TA doesn't know anything about onboarding is what she told me.

I have only done my drug test and then filled out the stuff for the background check. But I haven't gotten an email for the I9 or Covid questions like other people yet.

I got an email from the KP recruiter today saying I should be expecting a call from employee health, but I haven't got a call yet ?

Has anyone had their employment health appointment yet? Wondering what to bring and what to expect?

@RNVee who's your hub coordinator? Did your background check cleared already? If yes, when did you go for the in person l9 appt?

@RN-L I haven't got a call from employee health but I work in a hospital. My guess is that we'll do a TB test, turn in a copy of immunization, and respirator fit testing.

The person that has been contacting me regarding the background check and i9 is Moiralanna(kp recruiter). I haven't received confirmation that my background has cleared, but I did go in last week for the I9 appointment, and received the email about employee health today, but they still haven't called me yet to set up an appointment.

@RNVee Oh I see. I did my in person for l9 last week too but have not received any email from the employee health. Which day last week did you go for your l9 in person?

I'm in a similar boat as you both. Completed my I9 a week ago today and haven't heard from anyone since...hopefully by end of week! 

Off topic, but curious to know if anyone has heard from cohorts past if we have any sort of assessment/math exam as new hires? I know sometimes KP new hires are required to take some sort of basic math test...just want to know if I should study/brush up ??
