Kaiser New Grad 2012

Published

My girlfriend's roommate got a call for an interview, she thinks she was a panel interview. Anyone else get called? This is for the Kaiser in the SF Valley area.

it was a panel of 4 with you sitting in the middle.. the questions were a mixture of all three...i just got a rejection email after 3 hours...

Wow! That sounds really really fun. So sorry I missed that one. A rejection email after 3 hours....geez!

Hang in there!

I got that email, too - it said that it was due to a late bid or submission.

...

If I turned it in late, then why was I interviewed in the first place?

question what is a panel group interview?

is that a panel of 4-5 people interview a group of you all at the same time? -

i have an interview on tuesday with kaiser in the bay area and the recruiter told me its a panel group interview.

and i'm debating on bringing my resume/portfolio for all 4-5 managers... the recruiter said i don't need to bring my resume because the recruiter already has a copy of my resume, but she said i could bring it so i can use refer to it during my interview...

portfolio of cover letter, resume, reference list, and recc letters.

does this sound like a good idea? the whole process sounds a bit brutal, and i'm not sure how much the portfolio will help me or even if it will be looked at?

Hi guys,

Did anyone apply for Kaiser in Harbor City?

Thanks!

it's an interview where all of the applicants (30 or more applicants) get interviewed all at the same time in front of a panel of 4-8 people (managers, new grad coordinator, recruiter, etc.). all applicants will hear the questions/answers that will be asked of you and other applicants.

I have an interview tomorrow as well and I was told it's a group interview. Everyone I have talked to has never even heard of this before...Anybody have any advice out there for us interviewing in the group tomorrow? Thanks!

Wow! That sounds intense! Recruiter told me it would only be 30 minutes and a tour afterwards... Do they just go row by row?

Thanks for your help!

Apparently it's pretty normal I am learning, especially with all the new nurses out there! I have gotten the same email lately..Did you receive the second email with the preliminary interview?

When I asked the nurse recruiter about the interview tomorrow, she told me that there would be 3-4 people interviewing at once and there would be about 4 managers interviewing us. She said that the interview is 30 mins and if there was time, yes there would be a tour of the unit.
