  1. Got the rejection email today at 7pm. So sad
  2. So I'm thinking I'm realistically out of the running if I haven't heard anything by now? I haven't technically received a rejection email but I haven't received any calls or emails regarding interviews and given that I believe the program starts in early october which is right around the corner, i'm thinking i would have been contacted last week or so if they were interested. I'm so bummed, I really wanted the chance to interview!
  3. For those of you who have called, what number did you call? Did you speak directly with one of the nurse recruiters or recruitment specialist? I have obtained additional certifications since applying in June and even though I'm sure it won't make me a sexier candidate, I thought I would give them a call and tout my awesome certifications.
  4. I, too, am completely overwhelmed. It was not my original plan to go straight into an RN to BSN program, but I have been looking for work now for over six months since graduating with my ADN and no one is knocking down my door to hire this inexperienced new grad, so I feel like I need to re-group and get the BSN now. But there are so many to choose from and I don't have a lot of money but I don't want to waste my time and energy, either. I'm so confused!!
  5. nothing over here. wonder how many applications they received and how many positions are available. anyone have any idea?
  6. Wow! That sounds really really fun. So sorry I missed that one. A rejection email after 3 hours....geez! Hang in there!
  7. Sorry you, too, got voted off the island. Hopefully there's an awesome job with a little less intimidating interview just around the bend.
  8. Missdia, were you asked to stay for the second interview? What were you thoughts. That was my first panel and group interview....i think i would rather have a colonoscopy. I wonder if panel interviews that aren't group style are that bad. I just felt like if I could just have some alone time with the unit managers...
  9. i try to always learn from these things but i think it hurt my confidence far more than any benefits could outnumber. Out of curiosity, what was the second interview like? Maybe I can learn through your experience How many questions, how long, how scary? Was it behavioral, scenario, clinical kind of questions? But good luck to you!!
  10. I went to the interview and it was pretty brutal. After a few hours they call out a bunch of names and if yours wasn't mentioned you are asked to leave. I felt like I was getting kicked off the island on a Survivor episode. Embarrassed to say but I had my lunch alone with tears. Thought it would be good to have the immediate feedback and not have to sit and wait and wonder for 3-4 weeks while a decision is reached but the public rejection is actually so much worse. I am beyond discouraged!
  11. I'm waiting too. I hate this waiting....ugh!!! I know that there are six positions but I'm wondering how many applicants are interviewed and how many will be given the opportunity for a second interview. Good luck to us all!
  12. I have an interview with L&D set for the 16th. Make sure you check your spam/junk mail folder because for some reason my interview email was directed there.
