Just took the TEAS exam

I just took the TEAS exam today at CSN. It was fairly easy. The most difficult subject was science. It wasn't really the science reasoning but it was the random questions about Geology. There were only about 3 A & P questions on there and maybe 3 chemistry. There is a new book that ATI put out so hopefully it is more geared to what is on the exam than just a bunch of general problems that help you in no way what so ever.

Overall I got an 85% which is fine by me. Of course I would have wanted the A but I'll stick with the high B. Did anyone else take the exam? How did you guys do?

I took v. 4 and passed with an 82. I actually did very well in the science section i got an 87 in that section.. I only did poorly in Math where i got a 68.. but all in all i'm glad its over now on to the waiting lol.

Congrats on passing the TEAS.

Do you guys have any advice for the science? Congrats on both of your scores.

I got a 84.7. I also suprised myself in the science portion with a 83%. My hardest part was the english and language usage, which surprised me! I found that portion to be not as much like the study guide as the others. We have a very open window to decide when we want to take the TEAS. I planned it perfectly by studying on my break between quarters and then taking it the weekend after my first week. This worked great because I was taking Micro and AP so the first week of classes was all biology and chemistry review. I would recommend taking it at a time where you don't need to be focused on other classes. If you can't then just do what you can with the study guide. It is a very great tool. I would also recommend buying the practice test from the ATI website.

Thanks for the info.

Which version did you guys take? I have the Version V study guide and online access. I have looked at the practice tests in the book, but haven't taken the online practice tests yet. Did you find the online tests to be similar to the actual test?

We have to score a certain percentage on each section vs. getting an overall percentage. Did you get a breakdown of each section's score? For example, was it easy to score a 50% on the math and science sections?

My plan is to take one online test and focus on weak areas based on those results. Then I'll take the second practice test and see how it goes. I can sit for the exam twice, but I obviously want to pass the first time.

Any other advice you can give will be appreciated!
