This is my first time on this forum, and I took my NCLEX yesterday....and I don't even know what to think. I am a strong believer in prayer, and have had everyone I know praying for me, and have really been trying to think positive about this grueling NCLEX. I had 108 then that blue screen came up. Not 75, not 265, but 108. I really don't know how to feel. I'm even more anxious then I was before I took the test. I had 2 select all that applies, 1 math question which was ironically my first question, I saw things I never even heard of, I has sooooomany "Which one would I go see first", "who needs immediate attentention...actually I felt that my test was 90% composed of priority with the incorporation of THINKING. I just don't know what to think at this moment...but the test was hard. Seriously when I saw #76 pop up..I wasn't so anxious because I figured that I was still in he ballgame. Then when I got to # 99...I said okay..let's just expect 265, so I took a 5 minute break, got some water, prayed again and started. Then all of a sudden after I clicked the answer I chose for #108...the thing just stopped (3 hours later). At that point all panic antennas came up for me. So after that break I answered 8 questions...and that was it. Since I took the test on a Friday looks like I won't see results till Tuesday.....THIS IS THE ONLY THING THAT I CAN THINK ABOUT ( I mean it's 2 am Saturday morning and i'm still awake). I found a couple of the questions easy but for the most part I felt challgeneed as heck. PLEASE...I've been reading through this forum and it seems that there is a great support system...so keep me in your prayers. There's nothing I can do at this point to change my answers or go back and look at them, but I know with all things are possible with my Lord and saviour. Any suggestions for anxiety releasingthings would be helpful, or any words of encouragement.

Ganoo,
Try to relax. Keep these things in mind:
- People pass and fail at all different numbers of questions, so the 108 is irrelevant. No matter where it stops, the odds are still significantly in your favor.
- Both passers and failers tend to get about 50% correct. It's the difficulty level where you're getting 50% that determines pass/fail. Basically, the design of the test makes people feel unsure of themselves. 50% on a regular school exam would be horrible in most cases, but not here.
- Maybe try something involving some exercise to distract yourself. You will keep yourself busy and also burn some of that nervous energy. Whatever you do, don't look up the answers to your NCLEX questions in a textbook.
Good luck to you. Let us know when you have some results!

This sounds like my test! I had 2 select all that apply, no math though and definitely much priority. I had 101 questions and found out via PearsonVue that I did indeed PASS! I was sick to my stomach for 2 days. I don't know that I can make you feel any less stressed about it but just wanted to share my experience with you in hopes that it can help you stay optimistic. (I had an awful time waiting)

I too, wrote my NCLEX on July 13th and my computer screen blanked out at question 108. I did not take a break when the screen first blanked out at question 75. I got a lot of prioritizing questions, no math calculations at all, psyche questions, the odd OBS question ( around 2), and standard Lab values. Its been over 48 hrs now. Just wondering if any of you people know if PearsonVUe posts on Saturdays?
Yes they do! I'm still waiting though..because i took my test just before 2:30 on Thursday and I am absolutely a nervous wreck right now....mine stopped at 75...its 48 hours from the time you take the exam that they will be up.
Thanks! I will TRY my darndest to wait patiently! Right now, I am slowly going crazy thinking if I passed or failed. :uhoh21:
My results ended up being available around the time my exam ended.
Wow - it's an epidemic of 108's! Good luck to those who are still waiting.
Hey everyone it's Ganoo,
There is a bright sun at the end of the this tunnel. I took my test on Friday and I called the Board of nursing today and asked if they had an active license issued in my name and YES INDEED they DID. I PASSED, and I can officially say that I'm a RN:balloons:The feeling is so good, because this weekend is one that I will never forget. Thank you everone who cheered me up during the weekend and gave the encouraging words. I'm still praying for those who are still waiting on there results. THANK YOU LORD!
