Hi guys finally i was able to take the much dreaded nclex-rn earlier today at 8am. My test stopped at 75 thanked god coz i didnt want to endure more questions my mind might get too tired coz i barely slept last night because of excitement and anxiety. Anyway i had a lot of priority questions, meds, a little psyche, infection control and 1 select all that apply. I got hard questions often, but mixed with some easy ones, i dont know, hope i pass. But pass or not i would say the exam is very doable as long as you had a good review and suzanne was right you just need one book and that's the the saunders comprehensive review for the nclex-rn, you dont need those expensive online courses, everything is in saunders you just have to know the strategy on how to answer tough questions coz you can easily fall for those distracters if you dont read and understand each and every question. The waiting part sucks, anxiety is building up again, hope i make it, but if not then i just have to accept it and try again, never loose hope.

hope i can say yes to you but unfortunately im from california and i just took the exam last friday, so its impossible that i would be able to have my test result already, if im lucky i'd know it in 3 days but that's bare minimum, the average is ten days. Anyway to all of you who have replied to my post and have wished me goodluck thank you so much!
Ooo, I wish u pass. This must be an agony! And I absolutely agree with u, one book is enough, and following Suzanne is the right way. This is what I feel, though, I am having my exam in 4 days. I am kind of confident and really wanna finish with it... Hope this is not the wrong attitude. And, Ca.. I am there too, but I will wait longer as I don't have SSN.

:balloons: :balloons: :monkeydance: hi everyone i PASSED!!!!!! i knew it hehe, i just didnt want to shout it out here that i found the exam easy not for anything else but because i came very prepared for the exam. Saunders book and suzanne's study guide are all you need guys, believe me if you do everything in the guide as written you will feel very confident when you are there at the exam center and when you finally see those questions, you'll say "i know this, this is easy" but that should be matched with a relaxed state, dont be so nervous coz you dont have to if you are prepared. Anyway im so glad i learned my result in 2 business days, cant believe it! considering im from california. To Suzanne thanks sooo much for your study guide i wouldnt have nailed it without your help (im foreign-educated and this is my first attempt), and for all those who replied to my post and offered their sincere support and words of encouragement thanks a whole lot.

thank you urmine26, i feel good that i have influenced you in my own little way, yeah you should take it again, try suzannes study guide, it worked for me, just remember as long you are well prepared and you wont let your anxiety blind your mind you'll make it, a little anxiety before or during an exam is healthy, but too much will lead you nowhere, remember that, as i said when you've studied well enough, once you see those questions and it comes easy to you, your anxiety will lessen, even the hard ones will take awhile to answer but still doable, that's how i sum up my whole nclex-rn exam experience, goodluck to you, you'll make it dont worry.
