Doesn't matter if you get last question right or wrong. Hang in there and good luck
i have been reading alot of the last question threads and i know people are saying that it does not matter but wouldnt it make sense if after the minimum number of questions answered you are on a 50/50 chance and they will determine if you pass or fail by every question answered. why would it cut off after answering a wrong question and you pass that just dont make sense to me.

Good luck :wshgrt:. Now for the really hard part....................waiting for those results.
I passed and got the last question wrong. NCLEX is hard to predict. Best not to start overthinking.
but did it cut off at the minimum number of questions? that would mike sense to me

good luck
thank you
Yes, mine cut off at the minimum. But it is just a number. You can pass/fail regardless of the number of questions you get. You can pass/fail if you get the last one right or wrong. Perhaps ( in what you are describing ) the last question was a " test " question or a sample question that does not count towards whether you pass or fail? I think they throw in a few of the " test " items in everyones exam but I am not sure how many. ( just my theory )
yeah i guess thats true. i wish Ca would do quick results, its not fair....

I just wrote the NLCEX RN today and the exam stopped at 75 questions! I felt terrible last night, like I knew nothing at all -really nervous before the exam. Today, I took a tylenol before I entered the exam center. I just did the exam really carefully not to misunderstand the questions; I found, may be 2 or 3 drugs that I've never heard of before. I started to count down the no. of questions: 30, 50, 60,...and by the time when I reached to question 70, I really focused myself for I know for sure that I don't want to write it again!!!
I'm a Canadian RN and I used the Saunder's 4th ed. I highly recommend it.
Well, I still have to wait for the result -that should be available tomorrow!! Good luck everyone sitting for the exam!!!
