Hang in there! Getting a particular number of questions doesn't really give you certain odds of passing, other than to say that most first-time US-educated candidates do pass and generally select-all-that-apply questions involve higher levels of difficulty, which is actually a good sign. Let us know.
There is no way to tell, but from what I hear, the more difficult the questions become, the better you were actually doing. I have seen people pass or otherwise with very odd numbers. One of my friends sat for NCLEX-RN and did all 265 questions, taking close to 4 hours. When she finally looked up, she saw that she was the only one sitting in the test site. And, yes, she passed. Good luck, and I hope that you find out soon.
i took my test and stopped at 86...im so nervous cause most people stop at 85 and pass but for me, i stopped at 86. had like 7 or 8 select that apply and meds....
so with that said...is there any of you out there that passed with 86? pls. let me know...
and with the experienced nurses out there please a little encouragement.....im up to my nerves...and its difficult to enjoy the holidays knowing that there's something important out there to open up. and thats the nclex-pn results....
live here in so cal....how long will results come in?
I live in New Jersey and I passed with 86 questions. I am pretty sure you passed. If the computer shuts off with that small of a number of questions it usually means you have proved that you have the ability and the computer doesn't need to ask you anymore. If you were doing bad the computer probably would have tried to give you the chance to prove yourself. I think you passed! Good Luck!!!
