I graduated in August and just started my very first job last week. I work 7-3 and make 25.10 an hour. I work in a pediatric rehab unit which is in a long term care facility. I love it so much so far. I live in new jersey

I live in New Jersey and I passed with 86 questions. I am pretty sure you passed. If the computer shuts off with that small of a number of questions it usually means you have proved that you have the ability and the computer doesn't need to ask you anymore. If you were doing bad the computer probably would have tried to give you the chance to prove yourself. I think you passed! Good Luck!!!

My advice would be to relax before the test (as mush as possible) I know thats easier said then done. I studied a lot and I really feel it was not necessary. Nothing I studied was on there. I felt it was just kind of common knowledge stuff. Just review the core stuff and you should be fine. Good Luck! Let me know when you pass!! :)

I took it 4 1/2 months after I graduated and passed. I would suggest taking it as soon as possible though. It seems to be the smartest to take it while the information is still fresh in your mind. Good Luck!

I dealt with this A LOT while in nursing school. I went into the program thinking I could make some great friends that I could become close with, and study with, and encourage, but no. I was very wrong. I was the youngest in my class, and when people started to notice I was getting some of the highest grades in the class everyone turned on me. One woman (when I say woman I MEAN woman, she was about 50 years old with children older then me) screamed at the top of her lungs at me because I was sitting in a chair she occasionally sat in. People went as far as to tell me they were practicing voodoo on me! I got very discouraged, but didn't let it affect my grades or anything. I would just go to school and only speak to one or two people in my class and mind my own business. It was awful and really, I couldn't wait to be done and never have to see those people again. I was just very shocked because I thought everyone was going to be mature and that wasn't the case at all. I guess since nursing school is such a stressful time, people don't know how to deal. All I can say is don't let ANYONE bring you down. They are most likely grasping at straws to try to bring you down because they are jealous of how well your doing!!

I have read many places that the select all that apply questions are higher level questions. Meaning, the more higher level questions you got, the better you were doing and the computer was trying to exactly figure out your ability! I have a verrry good feeling that you passed! Believe me, I felt the same way. When the computer was throwing those select all that apply questions at me I wanted to kill myself. Even in school I always bombed on them. When I came out of that test I didn't think I passed at all. The 2 days afterward were like torture. The test was all I could think of. The anxiety is awful. Just have confidence in yourself and realize that you most likely passed. Good Luck! Let me know when you find out!!!!

hi! thank you so much for the congrats! i graduated school in july, and started sending out my stuff for the test in august. i didn't get my att until the beginning of november. i don't know why it took so long. i went to the hohokus school of business and medical science. good luck with everything...i'm sure you'll do great!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that... I PASSED!!!!

So I just found out this morning at 9 a.m. via quick results that I passed my NCLEX-PN !!! I am so so so excited!! I was so nervous and realllly didn't think that I passed. I had 86 questions- A LOT of Medication (all meds. I've never heard of), Prob. 8 select all that apply, a lot of priority and delegation. It feels so great to be able to say I'm a Nurse !!!!!! Thanks to everyone who prayed for me, I really feel like it helped!!!

So I took it this morning. It was very hard...a lot of med questions on meds. that I have never even heard of. I felt like I guessed on a lot...if not most of the questions. My computer shut off at 86. Is this good? I'm freaking out! The lady at the test center said I can start checking tomorrow night at 9 p.m. God I hope I passed!

I'm taking mine tomorrow!!!!! I've been studying but I don't feel confident at all. I'm horrible at delegation and select all the apply so it seems to me like I'm doomed! I am really trying to stay positive. Prayers are GREATLY appreciated!!!!

Hi everyone. I'm taking my nclex tomorrow morning and I am so stressed out about it. I just want to pass so badly and will be so extremley disappointed if I don't. I've been studying but I kind of feel like it's studying for the SAT, meaning you can't reallly study for it, at this point either you know it or you don't. I did well all through school and I really feel that I deserve to pass. Ughhhh sorry, I just needed to vent to some people who know what I'm going through!! I got so stressed out that last night I just burst into tears! This is a very intimidating experience! Anyway-anyone have any good last minute study tips? Or maybe a site with some good practice questions? Thanks in advance for your help!

I am taking my nclex-pn thurday morning (11-29-07) at 8:00 a.m. and I am freeeaking out. I am so nervous. Anyone have any tips for me!? Also, I live in New Jersey and got an e-mail saying I can find out if I passed or not in 2 days on a website...well, 2 days after I take my test will be saturday...does anyone know if they will post results even tho its a weekend?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
