just sick to my stomach with nerves

So.. i work about 40 minutes away from where i live, day/pm shift mostly pm's. never see my DH, causing lotsa strain on home stuff. I have been doing this drive for a while now with school included and this job has opened up much closer to me with a place that i really want to work and i am sooooo stressing out!! sick to my stomach, cant eat, tired, cant stop thinking about it. scared to even talk about it for fear of something so stupidly supersticious (sp?) that it wont happen. i am a 'great catch' shall we say. i have the experience they are looking for, a beautiful resume with a great background. but i am just wracking my nerves about this. they are going to start making calls in the next day or so, but wow, i have not wanted something this bad since i was pacing for my boards results!!! Help!

I hate to give you tha whatever will be will be advice, but it's the truth. If you've applied for the job then the rest is in their hands. It sounds like you haven't been interviewed yet, so it is important that you relax yourself before you have an interview. Show yourself as a confident, competent individual, and you're sure to have a good crack at the posotion. Also - sending the interviewer a note thanking them for their time couldn't help. Good luck!

so get THIS! i find out thru a friend that works in the OR that this doc uses, that the posting of this job was a gald dang smoke screen for the job. they "had" to post the job even though they had already been dealing with someone to take the job from that current OR. that rn spilled the beans to the girl i know because she "just had to tell someone". OMG! i was sick when i listened to the message. But, she also said they do have a clinical RN position opening i guess. so, i dont know if i have to re-apply if its going to be reposted. I knew something was weird when i didnt get a call by the next wednesday. So tomorrow i am going to call and just "inquire" about the position and then play dumb that i dont know anything. when they tell me the job was filled, i am going to ask if they have anything else going that will be open. and hopefully that will spark something, i dunno. maybe that i really super want the job. i am very proactive, and had called to "make sure" they had my application the first time. to show intrest ya know. so we will see. I am so stressed. after this, if that doesnt work, i dont know what to do, i cant take where i am anymore.

Thanks everyone!
