Just recieved 2 of my books from amazon this morning

I just got a couple of my nursing books this morning and was excited to open them and see what this fall semster was going to have in store for me. was I ever disappointed in both of them :(

Any other program using Health Assessment made Incredibly Visual ? It looks like a health assessment for dummies type of book complete with cartoons definitely not very professional looking. The dosage calculation book looks like early high school math too

Im sorry to hear that. i ordered my books from amazon and i was very pleased with the books that my school have picked. When you ordered your books did any customers from amazon do a review on the books? All of my books so far got 4.5 - 5 stars. This makes me feel good about the school because they picked good books. Check the views on the rest of your books. Maybe these are the only two "not so good" ones.:clown:

Not to burst your bubble, but dosage calculations ARE equivalent to early high school math. It's just not that hard, even though lots of students get hung up on it. Don't sweat that part.

The med surg book I ordered from Amazon for this semester is 2,500 pages.. Can't even pick it up with one hand, haha. I'll trade you any day!

I think I know which assessment book you have and we all made copies of the cartoons because they had mnemonics to go with the image. That really helped me remember the info during a test. Don't be too quick to judge this book - you may find you like it more than you expect.

We use this book. It's a nice change from all of our other texts and is incredibly (no pun intended) helpful.

Maybe I did judge it a little early without really looking at it. It received some good reviews and after looking at it a bit more I think it will make remembering some things easier.

I guess I just expected something different

My books are slowly coming in. I got my Fundamentals book. Opened it. Saw all those pages of that little tiny print. Slammed it shut. The end.

Whew! I'm feeling overwhelmed already and school doesn't begin until next week.

Wait. Next week? Ahhhh
