Hey everyone, I want to share my story because some of you may be in the same situation. I took the NCLEX with the new COVID rules: 60 questions min, 130 max. After 60 questions, the test kept going. It went all the way to 130 questions. When I got home, I received the email from Pearson, waited an hour, and tried the Pearson Vue Trick. I got the bad pop up message in which the site allowed me to register for another exam. I tried the trick several hours later and got the bad pop up again. I was devastated. Two days later, I got the Quick Results and found out that I had actually passed. Apparently, there is a gray area for the Pearson Vue Trick: if you take the exam and make it all the way to the end, the trick may not be accurate. It wasn’t accurate for me. If you’re in the same situation, keep your head up. All is not lost.
Also, my state board did not post my license number before my quick results were available. I understand it’s cheaper, quicker, and more accurate to check your license status on the state board, but this is why I did not do so.
Good luck everyone!
I agree. All the testing centers around me are booked solid till September so I took a gamble and took one for the next day. And I’ve been seeing people say they maxed out on questions and they got the bad pop up as well and it ended up passing them. I’m not sure why. But I wish I never did that trick.
You can pass at 130 questions.. I did it.. I heard if your last question is a easy question and you get it right then you pass.. I passed had an easy question about oxygen safety and I knew I got it right... Yeah and I made sure I didn't take my test close to a weekend so I wouldn't be wondering all weekend
Did you get the baD pop up? I can’t even remember what my last question was ?♀️

I can't remember what my last question was either. I know the last 10 questions seemed to be easier. But then I was literally running out of time so felt rushed to get through the questions. I never thought 130 question test would take me the max time since I've done other exams with same amount of questions in a LOT less time, but I tried to take it really slow because I knew I had one shot.

I don’t remember mine either. I hope I got it right LOL ? wishful thinking. All I know is that I am stressing they only had an available appointment for Friday now I’m agonizing over results and I have to wait even longer than 48 hours.
Oh sorry wasn't sure if that question was directed towards me regarding getting the bad pop up. I was able to re-register for exam and it processed my payment so I'm assuming that is the bad pop-up. I put all the correct card info I wasn't aware they recommend putting in incorrect expiration date for card to do the trick thing. I also did the PVT as soon as I got to my car after exam.

I took NCLEX yesterday also 5/29/20 bad pop up but it hasn’t been 24 hours since I tested though allowed me to put in all my credit card info and bad cvv code. Payment was declined. So I probably failed I already cried it out and accepted it. Just have to wait for official results to reschedule.
