Hey everyone, I want to share my story because some of you may be in the same situation. I took the NCLEX with the new COVID rules: 60 questions min, 130 max. After 60 questions, the test kept going. It went all the way to 130 questions. When I got home, I received the email from Pearson, waited an hour, and tried the Pearson Vue Trick. I got the bad pop up message in which the site allowed me to register for another exam. I tried the trick several hours later and got the bad pop up again. I was devastated. Two days later, I got the Quick Results and found out that I had actually passed. Apparently, there is a gray area for the Pearson Vue Trick: if you take the exam and make it all the way to the end, the trick may not be accurate. It wasn’t accurate for me. If you’re in the same situation, keep your head up. All is not lost.

Also, my state board did not post my license number before my quick results were available. I understand it’s cheaper, quicker, and more accurate to check your license status on the state board, but this is why I did not do so.

Good luck everyone!

OMG peeps ? so I finally was able to take my exam after waiting for 5 months!! It got ridiculous with this situation we have going on. Anyway, I took my exam at noon today.. I got a mix of all subjects so nothing worth pin pointing, went through ALL 130 questions 4 hours later ? I waited a few hours after testing and tried the pvt got the “Bad pop-up” Honestly I feel like I failed. It took me to the CC page and let me pay to reregister for another exam?! I’m assuming if that happens I must of failed?

There is a chance you got a false positive for the Pvt test. People sometimes get the bad pop up and still pass

Well I logged onto the SBON website and next to my license it says “ NCLEX exam passed result submitted pending?! Is that a good sign?!!

NVM I guess I was just getting my hopes up because I just got the email stating that I failed so I guess if anyone has a similar experience it means that most likely you failed. ?

Hi, CONGRATS nurse!

I did my exam yesterday 8AM, received the email 1 hr later and tried the trick in the evening. I got the bad pop up too... I only did 60 questions but it was a mix of questions this time, kind of diff to my other exams; trying to stay positive! Well, after reading your post I see a light at the end of this damn tunnel called NCLEX LOL. Fingers crossed!

Did you pass?

How long did it take you all to receive your ATT?? I am part of the lucky group that was able to finish our RN program even though Covid has been going on, but am still waiting on my ATT..

Thanks,
