Hey everyone, I want to share my story because some of you may be in the same situation. I took the NCLEX with the new COVID rules: 60 questions min, 130 max. After 60 questions, the test kept going. It went all the way to 130 questions. When I got home, I received the email from Pearson, waited an hour, and tried the Pearson Vue Trick. I got the bad pop up message in which the site allowed me to register for another exam. I tried the trick several hours later and got the bad pop up again. I was devastated. Two days later, I got the Quick Results and found out that I had actually passed. Apparently, there is a gray area for the Pearson Vue Trick: if you take the exam and make it all the way to the end, the trick may not be accurate. It wasn’t accurate for me. If you’re in the same situation, keep your head up. All is not lost.
Also, my state board did not post my license number before my quick results were available. I understand it’s cheaper, quicker, and more accurate to check your license status on the state board, but this is why I did not do so.
Good luck everyone!

I paid for it . I figured it would hurry up the process.
I did not pass as well. But even more determined to pass the next go around. I think I rushed into taking exam with three weeks of study while at the same time having to return to work a couple of weeks ago. I focused primarily on Kaplan Q Bank questions when I could have reviewed more content overall from Saunders or Kaplan. My plan is just to do daily review of text books then I will move towards doing some of the longer trainers to prepare. Also, just because your scoring passing level on some of adaptive exams or even some of Kaplan doesn't necessarily mean you will pass NCLEX. Make sure you are reviewing as much content as you can and utilize decision tree during exam.
Tried to tell people that ..you have learn the concepts and not try and remember answers and go off of the score on your practice test.
I had a free Kaplan free trial.. I didn't care for the tree..
It all comes down to this..
What is this question asking ... ?? Is it a ob, cardiac ,med surg, respiratory or peds questions.. is the answering matching up with the answer .
And when you get that paper back that says what section you fail.. you need to throw it away because you need to study the NCLEX all over again.. you don't get the same test and the same types of questions
