I was reading a post in a different section and a guy mentioned something about being "one of the girls." By which I believe he meant the the women in class got used to him being around and just talked like he was "one of the girls", and talked about some things they don't talk about when we are usually around. I was just wondering if anyone else experienced something like this.
I made the mistake of eating lunch with some of the older women in my class one day and they were talking about their sex life, in detail, lots of detail, too much #@*& detail.
I was treated like that by my classmates as well. A girl will tell a guy all sorts of things once they deem you "one of the girls" a.k.a. non-threatening! You certainly find out a lot about women from their conversations!!
I have to admit that after a while, most of us considered our two guys "one of the girls." We've done and said things to/in front of them that we wouldn't have said/done in front of other male classmates...and believe it or not, very little of that were items of a sexual nature.

*I* don't want to hear it, either, and I'm an older woman.
