Just to nclex and nervous

Ok you guys..i took the nclex and finished with 200 questions..it was very hard and left the center crying..i got mostly select all and prioritizing. I tried the pvt trick and kept getting the good pop up..and i also went on the BON website to see if my temporary license was still available and it was indeed still active...although these are good signs but i cant sleep until i see the actual results. Any advice from anyone?

There is nothing you can do now that will change the result. Since you're getting the good popup, you likely have passed but I must caution you that the NCLEX is scored twice and the second scoring is the definitive one. Wait about 24 hours and try the PVT again (since you've been at it so far) and if you get the good popup then, chances will be that you have passed the exam. In the meantime, check the BON website for license numbers. Sometimes they can post license numbers very quickly. My own license was posted about 35 hours after I took the NCLEX.

This is just one of those things that you can't control. It's also very common to walk out of the NCLEX and feel like you failed. It's just how the exam is designed. If anything, get some good sleep and celebrate the fact that you graduated and earned the right to stare down the NCLEX for all of the 200 questions it threw at you.

I felt like I was going to pass out after my test. I felt weak and wanted to cry. I knew I had failed in 75 questions. The good pop didn't help. The only thing helped was seeing the pass and my license posted. So I understand. Try to celebrate the new year by that time you will have results

that calls for a celebration!!! cheers to the new RN!! (took mine on march for the first time, and yeah felt terribly bad when i walked out of the room post exam.. and yeah had to wait 6 hours until i was able to do the PVT (longest 6 hours of my life) d/t technical problems of the site, maintenance probably, but thank god right then when i did the PVT, i got a good pop-up!! did it several times and i'm getting the same.. and true enough, after 48 hours, did the quick count and yup officially i found out that i hit the mark "PASS"! congrats again!! :D Job well done!

The PVT works as much as it ever did, just differently since late August of this year.

People who say 'it didn't work for me' didn't do it correctly. And those who did it incorrectly are usually none-the-wiser because the result happens to be the same as what they thought.

I also recently passed!! i took mines on the 23 last week, and just found out that i passed this morning! I didnt bother doing the PVT trick and i refused to give pearson anymore of my money so i didnt check quick results..lol. My name and license was posted this morning on the NY board.
