springfield....the most boring capital in the world!

hi i was wondering about a program in springfield where u can get your lpn in nine months, ever heard of it? if so where is it and what is it called?

i was wondering if that capital area school of nursing is the one that offers the 9 month program?

Sorry it took me so long to reply but I'm in the program and have very little free time. Yes Capital Area in Springfield is a 9 month program, unless you start in Jan. then it is 1 year. If you start in Aug. you finish in June. If you start in Jan. you get out for 2 months for summer break so it takes a year to get through the program and finish the following year in Jan. Hope this helps, if you have any more questions feel free to post them. We start X-Mas break next week so I will have more time to check my e-mail.

Hello All Illinoisans( I think)

Anyway, I'm new to this site.

I am not a nurse as of yet, but I am a pre-nursing student living in Illinois. So, I thought it would be ok to post. I am glad to have this site around. Everyone is no nice and willing to help you in anyway. Today is my bday!!!!! I start school on Jan. 18. I'm very excited and nervous all at the same time. I really can't wait. BTW I'm in southern Ill. I'll be on periodically to see what's going on.
