OK, where is everyone from Illinois? There were 29 replies on the original intro thread. Is that it?

Roll call....

Here! (Chicago)

currently a student in southern illinois, but i'm ready to get out of the boons and move back to the city. i miss chicago. not even the city, the suburbs would suit me nicely. i just want to get back up north. maybe get my bsn at st. xavier or something. does anyone have any experience with lewis, francis, or xavier and they could maybe give me advice or tell me what to expect with those schools?

i went to st xavier, graduated 15 months ago. i really enjoyed going there. beautiful campus, nice people, and i was really prepared for nursing. currently work in neuro icu, started as new grad, and love it! born and raised in chicago, the best city ever!! and, oh, go white sox!!

Anyone checked into the nursing school program at Rush downtown??

I'm only about 20 miles directly south of you, Cornell (little bit of a town). Nice to see someone from the area. Where do you work?

I guess it's "Old Home Week". I grew up in Ottawa, next door to Morificeilles, and about 20 miles from Morris.

I didn't attend school at Rush, but did work there, and can't say enough about their program. It involves much more clinical time than the typical BSN program. We often had students on our unit, and I worked with a number of Rush grads. They were very well-prepared!
