I just got home from the NCLEX. I got 17 SATA, tons of medications question, 2 calculation questions (i know i didn't get the other one correct), and LOTS of priority questions and no delegation. I stopped at 75 questions. I was confident when i walked into the exam room, trying to calm myself because I did prepare for this exam. I studied for 2 months, took the complete Kaplan Review and even signed up for the NCSBN 3-week subscription. I studied >5,000 questions and I thought I am prepared...BUT this exam does surprise in a different level. I came out the exam room crying..driving home, I couldn't stop crying!!! What are the chances that I can pass when I got like 17 SATAs??!! And I feel like i only know maybe like 5 for sure.
Please please pray for me that I pass..like everyone else I'm feeling this mixed emotions. NCLEX is sooo hard. But i hope i passed.

I know EXACTLY how you feel, though i took the PN, seems as if we had the same type of questions! SATA, PRIORITY and MEDS MEDS MEDS!!! I kept getting the same topic on the diseases, worried I kept getting them wrong. I felt completely sick afterwards and cried my eyes out. haven't slept in 48 hours, have to wait till at least tomorrow morning to check for my results. I have no confidence...very scared. The questions were, bizarre..strange..never ever had I practiced anything like that! I feel like a complete failure right now...hopefully we both passed!! Prayers are going up to God!

Try to keep the faith and think positive. Almost everyone says that this is a weird exam. My friend that graduated form nursing school with a cumulative gpa of 4.0 was also crying when she came out. Try not to get your anxiety too high. There is a thread on this broad about what you can do while you wait for your results just too distract your mind. I really hope all goes well.

I agree...I feel like garbage...I don't think i passed. I got a TON of Prioritizing questions and like 4 SATA. I feel like a very stupid person. When the computer shut off I felt like it told me..."your too dumb, i refuse to waist any more electricity on you"
Oh well...and now begins the wait!
wait.....thing is i dont really rememeber if i stopped at 85...maybe it was 86 or 87....omg what if i got the last one wrong and thats when it shut off??? oh my goodness, i cant take this anymore.

Based on my experience, I believe that there may be a misconception about SATAs. The fact that some people get many SATAs may actually play in their favor. During my test; also one of my friends had a same experience, I was getting a SATA question after getting 2-3 difficult questions right in row. Which makes me think that SATAs may be at the high level difficulty... I never heard of someone getting more than 15 SATAs who failed the NCLEX with 75 questions. You can check all the postings of people who passed the NCLEX with 75 questions. Just last week my friend from school and one of our best student passed her NCLEX with 75 questions and she got 25 SATAs. So to ease 4ever_heaven worries, getting many SATAs may actually mean that you've been killing the test. (That's my opinion)
I passed the NCLEX with 75 questions and I got 10 SATAs!
For people who got 75 questions on the NCLEX and who got many SATAs, please stop worry and stay positive. There is very high probability that you passed the NCLEX. Again these are my opinions and not from allnurses.com...
Best wishes!

I know how you feel I took mine on Wensday, and while I was driving home I also started crying; I got 75 questions; but there was this one math question that I had three diffrent times with diffrent numbers; I hope that is not the question that will make or break me. Stay Positive; I get my results tomorrow and I am very terrified of the results.

I just wanted to let you know about my experiance. I took my NCLEX on Tuesday. I also was in tears coming out of there. I felt like I knew nothing and I was very well prepared doing about 4 or 5000 question. I had about 9-10 mulitples and so many priority question and I really am terrible at them. I shut off at 75 and missed my last question being a math question. Well I got my results today and guess what, I PASSED!! I felt the way you guys did sick to my stomach for 2 day wondering if I passed or not, so keep your head up you probably did GREAT!!!!
