Oh My God !!!! just got back from lynne's workshop and i have to say this is a must for cpne!!! I have my date next month and i am sure that if i had not gone to this workshop i would have definitely failed!!! this is the most information packed two days you could ever attend. I had no idea that this exam required such intricate details when it comes to the critical elements!!!!!!!!!! Lynne makes this overwhelming information easy to understand and gives you the greatest tips on making the whole experience as easy as possible, and she is sooooooooooo pretty! As students we always try to show what we know and end up making things harder than they really are. I am confident that with the information and tips learned at this workshop i will be as prepared as possible for this life changing exam!! good luck to all of you. And wish me luck!!

Great to hear, I am sending in my CPNE app tommorow and I plan on attending Lynne's Philadelphia workshop in July. I am so happy to hear so much positive feedback about her workshop. Good luck on your CPNE.

Don't forget the first sentence in every area of care-------Complies with the established guidelines. These are NOT the same as the Critical Elements. You need to know your critical elements, but you better know those established guidelines.

Good luck, Chris! You're well on your way! I attended the EC workshop rather than Lynne's workshop, so I couldn't compare the two, but I was definitely glad that I chose to attend something. I often wonder how people pass without the benefit of some supervised practice.

I also just returned from Lynn's workshop. She uses a no-nonsense approach and basically tells it like it is, using the KISS mneumonic. (keep it simple, stupid) :lol2: She has examples of correct documentation, has mneumonics for remembering the steps to all critical elements, and makes care planning so easy. (Which I thought would be my biggest problem) She also demonstrates the lab skills and allows practice time. I highly recommend her workshop. Has anyone heard from chris about his CPNE?

Have not seen anything posted by him since his CPNE. He blew thru all the NC tests so fast and did so well. I hope that he did well on the CPNE and just has been too busy to post. HOwever, you can never underestimate the CPNE. It is not a test to take lightly.

I passed the CPNE in march in Mansfield. Lynn was such a wonderful help in passing the CPNE. I might try to stop by this year in philly to help out. She was wonderful. I definately recommend her workshop to everyone involved with excelsior college.

I just registered for Lynn's December workshop in Charlotte, NC. It's about a 6-hour drive for me from Virginia, and the timing should work -- I should be done with my NCs by then! I've been doing one a month -- doing NC2 on Tuesday. Setting self-imposed (and financially committed!) deadlines like these is really helpful for me! :)
