Well...one time as a new endoscopy nurse I was so worried during a trauma endoscopy when the clip nicked an artery all I could see on the monitor was gushing blood, I was busy with boluses and prbcs while my favorite gastroenterologist was so calm try to clip the artery. I think he felt kinda sorry for me looking allcrazy trying to multi task when he blurted out "Nurse E, all bleeding eventually stops one way or the other"! I bust out laughing and suddenly I was calm:-) :lol2:

honesty is the best policy

persistence pays

"The only bad mistake is the one you didn't learn from"

When I was in nursing school one of my instructors used to tell the class two things one was to "Act Like A Nurse Now" so when you become a RN the only difference will be that you have a License! The second thing was that "One Time Is Enough"!!! Meaning to study hard now so we can take the N-CLEX 1 TIME!!! It worked for me and I did it and you can too!!!

Stupidity should be painful.
