Just had my first hospital clinical day

I just had my first hospital clinical day. This is my first clinical day for med/surge, in my 2 previous nursing classes my clinicals were at LTCs.

It was so awesome and amazing. I have learned so much today. The RNs at the hospital were so kind and helpful. I was able to follow my pt to different units and the RNs in each unit took the time to teach me about the unit and how to care a pt who is in that unit. They taught me things that I won't be covering for a few classes, but that is awesome.

So thanks to those RNs who take the time to help a student. And thanks to all the healthcare staff that take the time to help a student too.

it's nice seeing nurses help out each other... instead of being competitve, mean, and snobby. because some individuals are... but that's so kind of them... they rock...
