CONGRATULATIONS sounds as if you passed. I take mine a week from today and scared senseless. Pray for me pleaase. I know that you passed the trick has not been wrong yet have faith. Post and let me know when you get the official results. What types of questions did you get? I know the more pharm and sata questions are considered to be what you want to get :yeah:

After taking exam i have realized that all the test came from saunder book..............

From my exam cram book, i got word to word 5 questions

No stratergy goona work for u when u taking exam, so dont try to buy any books no maslow no abc nothing.

if u study saunder thats the bible of nursing..........i thought this time if i fail i will just focus saunders

but when i came home i knew i failed test question were easy......

the way they write question u cant say its easy or hard question,,,,,if u prepared enought then everything look easy for u.....anyways i got all state forword one line question,,,,,,

so when i came home i knew i did bad........my friend she also took with me and she got 85 only

afer i got home i was tired took me 4 hrs to finish 205 question so i want to sleep

i knew i did bad so i thought ok night time i will try the trick but my frined call me she said she is getting pop op how abt u? i hang up the phone and tryied mine.......i turn on the laptop volume high so i could hear pop op

now after filling all information in pearvuew site i was ready to click next and i closesd my eyes......and i heared dinggggggggggggggg pop ops appear.............................so i m relief 90 % but 10 % still scared.......

i m in california will get my official result in 2 to 4 weeks until then i have to wait........

i got 10 to 12 meds

7 or 8 sata...

15 infection control

10 to 12 reinforce the pt

3 calculation

3 lab value

remember in exam easy to easy question they make hard......i mean when u read question without looking options u knew the answer but when u look options ur answer is not there and choices arre similer...it will confuse u

i mean 4 choices u can eliminate 1 or 2 but sometimes all 3 choices look good......so read each question lot of time.......and dont hold the mouse

because its like butter if u click thats it.......so move ur hand from mouse

when u sure abt answer than hold and click next.......

I hope so I have used the Saunders book all the way through school to help with my nursing exams. Even our instructor pulled questions from the book. I am still doing questions from the saunders CD and using the nursing made insanley easy mneumonics book that we used during our exam review. Just pray for me I will take it next tuesday and the closer it gets the more nervous I get Well it looks like you pased with the "Tric" so far it has been right everytime. Let me know when you get the official results. I live in North Carolina so we have the quick results. but two of my friends took it a little over a week ago and have already had their results mailed to them. So maybe you won't have to wait so long. I like your tips and will usr them and hopefully i can join you soon as being an LPN.

Congratulations!! I hope and pray that someday that pop-up will work for me. Right now I am scared to death. I dont know if i need to study the content or do practice test..I know what to do and everything to help me i guess. Its just my FEAR of FAILING again is bigger than me. I am taking my exam a month from now and i am thinking of rescheduling. I am so AFRAID..I hate this EXAM. Its my worst nightmare..I dont know how to overcome my fear..I sit and study but nothing going inside my brain. This is my 3rd time and i will have to and dicided if i fail again i will have to forget about Nursing and change career path..Its the most stupid exam i've ever taken...I dont know what else to do...

to give up there are plenty of stories on her of those that had to take it many times and succeeded. Believe in yourself and do not let the NCLEX defeat you. Continue to study and if you feel like you are not ready right before your test date then reschedule. Have you read the fact throwing thread. When I get tired of doing questions and reading rationales I just click on the sticky and read through it one page at a time. There are alot of helpful hints on their and ways to remember things. Just remember You will be a Nurse. Do not let anxiety consume you are go into the test feeling like you will fail because you will. Take your time to answer the questions and if you absolutely do not know the answer then try and make an educated guess. Remember we just have to prove we are safe nurses not that we know everything. Take care of yourself and learn relaxation techniques in case your nerves get the best of you during the test. There was even aposter that stated that if armotherapy works for you then go to bath and body works, buy you favorite scent, wear it the day of the test and when anxiety starts creeping up then just smell the scent on your arm, hands or wherever and let your anxiety melt away. I believe in you and you will beat this test and be a great nurse. No one ever has to know how many times you had to take boards to become the wonderful nurse that you know that you can be. Keep me posted on how things are going. I take mine next tuesday so I will post and let you know how it goes. One thing that I have learned is to stay away from the negative posts on here or you will work yourself into a frenzy. Believe in yourself and study hard and take the test when you feel that you are ready no one can judge that but you. GOOD LUCK and keep me posted now on how it goes. :wink2:

I am crying right now. This exam is too much and too hard. I dont understand why those who make this test really wanted to make this stupid test hard to pass. Where not perfect and you cannot measure ones competency by just this test alone there are other ways...Anyways, i am trying to figure out what to do..I really hope that i dont to give up..but my guts its telling me ...I will let you know what i come up with a plan to study this in a non-anxiety way..Thanks for your faith..

ON my First exam i got 205 question and i was sure i did good.....i came home and type 75 questions out of 205

i match my answer and mostly were right so i was sure that i ll pass, but i waited for my result, took whole month to get my result and i failed first time ,,,,before i rearely come to this site and i never checked before what is person vue trick,,,,,,,,,,after i failed my test i regularly started to come this site and find out what is trick means,,,,and i pray god when my time will come so i could see pop op blocker......

anyways aug 18 i took exam, got 205 question,,,,my first question was abt medicine

so i thought it will stop on 85 but no keep asking me asking me....cross over 150 now i knew this time it will take me all the way and same thing happend.......by the 100 question my eyes were already tired,,,so i was loosing my focus even i took 5 min head down nap so i could give some rest to my eyes,,,,i took 2 unofficial breaks,,,,,,

Now here is my real point for all those who is going to take exam soon

before exam day dont try to watch tv No pc No laptop becuase this all thing will pull your eyes energy so u really need to give your eyes full one day break,,,,,,,,

If u dont do this thing then when u taking real exam, by the 100 question u start gonna loose focus becuase ur eyes gona tired.........................and u will probably guess everything so u could go home and sleep

Also week before test u need to sit on ur laptop on ur pc everyday atlest 4 hours and do questions,,,,,,so ur eyes are ready when u take final exam............

When u take ur real exam dont loose focus and dont think that o men all people are going and i m the only one here,,,,,,who care they are not ur relative or ur love one.......

read each question 2 to 3 time. If u start loosing ur focus then think in mind,,,,,this is not local test. this test is going to change my life. Think abt ur kids,,ur husbad,,ur wife,,,ur home,,ur loan,,,,,ur car bills,,,,

u will be back to right track......

hey 2brichielpn08 i failed nclex pn the first time with 205qs in 3hrs 1/2 and i passed the 2nd time with 85qs in 2hrs, this time i only used exam cram and didnt really study much, i went to the beach to relax and i only studied 1hr/day for a month and didnt study at all for 4days before my test. i know how u feel about failing i was devastated when i found out i failed the first time i cried everyday for a month and was so embarrassed to even get out of the house, didnt even answer phone calls from my parents and i studied like crazy for almost 3months. dont give up and pray to god that u will pass on ur third try. dont stress so much it is what it is just try to relax, go out to the beach enjoy the summer. i know u know ur stuff and u will pass on ur third try. have faith in god. best of luck.

Thank you for all of your tips and help. I am looking forward to more of your posts before I take my boards. i know you said you had to wait for your results to be mailed, but does your name appear on the board of nursing website before then because I know of some who do not pay for quick results here that wait for about 72hrs and then check their state board of nursing to see if their names are there i didn't know if they would work where you are or not. Like I said I had friends to take boards last Tuesday and their license was recieved in the mail on saturday so maybe it won't take you that long to get your official results. :wink2:
