June CEP applicants

Published

I know it's still a ways off but I was SUPER excited to see the application session was available for registration tonight! So I thought I'd start a thread for those of us applying in June.

I'm applying for CEP with upper Iowa and I can't wait. I've already been in contact with the Iowa advisor and she has been SO incredibly helpful and nice answering my millions of questions and setting me up with a game plan for classes.

So who else is applying?

I applied on June 2, and these seem like the longest few weeks ever!! I applied for NAU and GCC, with a few others as backup.

You trying for GCC traditional or evenings?

I am going for traditional.

I also applied to nau/gcc traditional.

I am hoping to get gcc/nau evenings!

Good luck to you guys, I hope we all get what we want, and soon!

I'm hoping for ASU/gcc evenings.

Hope we all hear good news soon!

I applied NAU/Gateway traditional. ..is anyone going to do NAU's fast track program?

I applied to nau/gcc eveings. I don't know much about the fasttrack for nau.. Do u know more about it?

Basically what is the difference?

Hi guys! I applied for GCC/UIU traditional. When I spoke to the UIU rep, she said they're (UIU) taking anyone who applies! So excited for Wednesday to come to find out!

The difference for NAU's fast track program is the Gerontology class we would take through NAU for block 2 is moved and would be taken before we start block 1 along with NUR 330. NUR 424 is moved to block 2. And the 2 classes you would take after block 4 you would take during block 4. Long explanation lol. But basically you just get an extra class before block 1 and an extra class during block 4. If you look at the NAU brochure, it breaks down for you.

I asked the gentleman that I was doing my application with for NAU, and he said they are transitioning it to be just "fast-track", in other words the "fast-track" schedule will be the only one that they (NAU) offer.
