Hi,
I'm new at this posting thing but it seems really helpful to talk to other people going through the same process of finding good schools and applying for the highly competitive programs. I figured i would try and start a new thread for anyone who is applying for the program that start at JU in May of 2011! :) Best of luck to everyone
How many people are accepted into the accelerated program? I thought it was around 48?
Yeah, that is just what I was saying to myself. I looked at all of the info online quite a while ago, but I seem to remember that they take more than UNF at once (and UNF only takes 27 at a time). 15 people sounds really super-low. Is that for the regular track?
I was wasn't real happy with my interview, although I still thought it went well. I wasn't happy with my essay either, even though I had practiced it before-hand! haha... I did have some very nice recommendation letters and I have a very good GPA, so I am hoping those things are going to lift me up. I'll be back when I get my letter to let you know if I got in!!
ahhhhhh!!! Hurry up mailman!! hee hee!
I just went back to the email Chris send and it say's that they are in the last stages and he anticipates letters to be mailed by this week. I don't know if he meant mailed out or in the mail by this week. I am very anxious as I hope to receive something before Thursday since I am going on a cruise. Hopefully it won't ruin my vacation..

oh, a cruise? how perfect! I hope the letter gives you reason to celebrate! (if not, you can blow off some steam!)
Is anyone deciding between UNF and JU? UNF requires you to RSVP by 8am Monday the 28th at the absolute latest, so if JU sends the letters out too late then you really have no basis to decide.
I'm still torn on how to pay tuition. I just don't see how I could possibly get even $20,000 in scholarships, much less 50K. I really want to know how many private loans current students have to take out.

I am hoping so too. I don't think you will have a problem getting in that is a great GPA.
