JU summer 2011 hopefuls

I'm new at this posting thing but it seems really helpful to talk to other people going through the same process of finding good schools and applying for the highly competitive programs. I figured i would try and start a new thread for anyone who is applying for the program that start at JU in May of 2011! :) Best of luck to everyone

Hi everyone! I am also trying to get into JU. I have an interview coming up as well and was wondering how the essay portion was? I know the topics and that we recieve one, but are they looking for a bulk single paragraph essay, or a five paragraph?

Good luck to everyone! Stay positive :) It is scary that there is only 15 seats BUT they told me that because JU is so costly, that many accepted actually deny because of the cost.

So we may all have a chance!

Grenkr, is JU your top choice? Have you applied to other colleges as well? It is costly, but I truly want to be there. I believe the admission fee is $300 & don't even know how much a semester is going to cost, but I know it's pricey. I'm so looking forward to Mid-late March....the decision will be made.

I did apply to UNF and got into the school BUT my TEAS test scores were not high enough ''/ So I didn't get into the Nursing program. However, JU is my top choice so I am hoping for that! Since a test wasn't required for entrance I just hope everything else will pull me through!

I'm sure you will do just fine with your interview & essay. The days cannot go by fast enough!!!

The essay is fine. It's like the amount of space they give you on the fcat. Front of one page. 3 paragraphs easy (: good luck :)
