JTCC fall 2011 acceptance

U.S.A. Virginia

Published

Good afternoon! I applied to John Tyler community college's nursing program for fall 2011, back in the beginning of February. I am so nervous about finding out if I was accepted, but I am becoming more and more impatient everyday when the letter is not in the mail. Does anyone know when I should find out?? Please and thank you! Best of luck to everyone!

Well I ordered my uniform tops and they came in yesterday;). I am normally a size 10 top and the website said to order a small. I was so afraid that it would be too small, but to my surprise it was perfect:lol2:. I ordered the zip top, button up top and the lab coat from them and it only took a week to get everything. The button up top is just a little snug, but would be too big in the next size.

Thought you guys would like to know.

Hi everyone:lol2: ...so excited/anxious to be starting school so soon!! I wanted to let you guys know that I called the Midlo bookstore and they informed me that the box of books are expected the first week of August... so I guess that's a little better than we anticipated, IF they do in fact arrive on time!

I'm in the HDEP Program as well- not sure about how a study group will work for me, I live ALL THE WAY in King William County... and will be working a couple days a week, too. But will figure that out later.. :)

Congrats guys!! Look forward to all of us meeting soon!! :yeah:

If anyone hears of someone dropping the all morning labs/clinicals for NUR 111 please let me know. Still trying to switch.

Check today, (Sat) and see if anyone dropped. I really hope that you can get what you need!! Maybe you can talk to our nursing advisor and get direction from her.

Thank you, LillyBug for letting us know! :yeah:

Hey everyone!

I fell behind on this post, but I wanted to make sure everyone got the e-mail containing the information about the immunization tracker that is $20 available through certifiedbackground.com- I didn't receive it so my friend had to forward it to me! Also, noticed that in the packet we got in orientation it says if your hep B vaccines are more than 10 years old, you need a titer!! It doesn't say that on the actual physical examination form so my doctor and I missed it! I hope none of you did!

I look forward to meeting you all soon! :) Have a wonderful rest of your summer!
